Perfect Getaway Home!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ryan's home, and I can’t recommend it enough! The house was clean and spacious. More than enough room for my husband and I 3 other adult family members. They have a "casita" - which is actually like a side house type of thing that is connected but not really. A guest can have their own entrance, full bath, kitchen/living area and bedroom. That was pretty cool. Having your own privacy but accessible if you want to be with the family. Ryan was an excellent communicator, promptly answering all of our questions. The only issue that wasn't really an issue was turning off the outside fire fit. Which, by the way, was awesome too! We had a hard time tuning it off on the last night. But I informed Ryan and we went about our evening. If you're looking for a cozy, comfortable, spacious and well-maintained place to stay, this is it. We can’t wait to come back for another visit! I would recommend.

Good Stay. Could be great with a little TLC
Ryan was an outstanding host w/great communication. Beds were comfortable, house was clean upon arrival. Only 6 minutes from the polo grounds. A few things to note that I would have liked to know ahead of time. - The property backs up to a major road, making it pretty noisy outside. The waterfall helps offset.- The back sliders don't lock. They've provided a wooden dowel, which is inconvenient and janky. - Sliders lack screen doors, making airflow tough unless you're willing to deal with bugs inside.- Exterior string light switch is behind pool equipment and other supplies. Quite dangerous. - The fridge water filter leaks, causing water to drip & pool on the bottom. The top shelf also freezes your food. Between those two issues, you’re left with an ice block on the top shelf and a puddle at the bottom.Other small things that are just a little annoying but worth calling out:- The pool light doesn't work. The back patio lights also don't work. You're limited to using the string lights for light, which are tricky and dangerous to access.- Showers have shampoo and conditioner but they're large bottles and placed on the floor (instead of a shelf) or bench making it difficult for older guests to access / use.- The ice maker doesn't work; Bring your own ice. - The hallway shower only gets lukewarm water. Same with the kitchen sink.All in all, it was a good 3.5 / 5 stay with a solid host. It can be an easy 5 / 5 with a little effort.

Disappointing stay
Although we did enjoy our stay, we found the cleanliness of the place to be subpar. The sills and sliding door had a ton of dirt and dead insects, and there was hair found everywhere including the showers, bedsheets and towels. The shower lining was also full of mildew and mold. So much so that the kids wouldn’t shower there and we had to purchase a new lining. Many of the door handles are broken or need replacement.

7th Anniversary Vacation
The property has hige potential to be a must stay but ...the lack of cleanliness, odor of pets in the furniture and the allergens in the house made it almost impossible for us to stay in doors unless we were in the kitchen or bed rooms. Whoever does the cleaning doesn't do a great job only sufficient and then you have to come in and clean afterwards. Lost of things broken the door to the outdoor living space the handle is broken, which is a security concern. If it weren't for the pool and sauna, the outdoor living space this rating would be -1 star. This is the best asset and with some new updated cushions for the outdoor furniture it would be an awesone oasis. We stay outdoors most of our entire 6 day 5 night stay and the temps were plus 100 everyday so we stayed in the pool which is awesome. All is not lost with some upgrades to the indoor living spaces including new beds, couch, sectional and all cloth furniture this would be a place I would love to revisit. Do Better! Great stay
We had a great stay at this house. The main reason we chose it was the backyard and it did not disappoint. The yard is huge, and the pool is also huge and deep! We all enjoyed the spa, and the pool table got a ton of use. The living spaces were nicely appointed and comfortable. Overall, 5 stars for all the major amenities! There are some minor details that could be attended to, like the really nice master bathroom that has no place to hang a towel, the broken front door latch, and the broken patio games. The kitchen was oddly part really nice while also being a bit random and chaotic, but we did find everything we needed (except coffee mugs!). Overall though, we had a great time here and would definitely return!

Very Nice House in Indio
My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this house in Indio, CA. Pros: - Very quick and effective communication with host. Prompt responses. - Awesome pool that you have the option of heating. Same with the spa. Pool is deep from end to end so that was a nice touch! - Good lighting out back with a nice, spacious backyard. - Casita was really nice with a full bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. - Pool table on good shape! CONS: - Calhoun Street pretty noisy right off master bedroom. Cars loud and racing almost every night. - Door entries weren't too bad, however, the doors themselves need to be replaced. - Furniture (couch, table) could be replaced and pretty worn. Back sliding glass door old and needs to be replaced. - Ice maker for main house fridge not working Our group of golfing guys had a great time overall. Would give the house a solid 7.5/10 and would stay here again in the future. Plenty of golf courses in the vicinity! Thank you.

We had an amazing stay at this listing! We had 3 couples for a 3 night stay. We absolutely loved the back yard and pool. The house was stocked with everything we needed and Ryan was extremely responsive. The pool is DEEP so I do recommend bringing floaties. I hope we can stay again in the future! Thank you!

Beautiful house - ultimate comfort
We came here for a bachelorette party and had a wonderful time! The house was so clean, the beds were very comfortable and we loved how much space there was for our group. The pool and backyard were amazing, we had so much fun hanging outside all day. There was so much room for everyone to sleep comfortably and sit in the living room all together. The house backs up to the main road but the wall is big enough to block out any noise and we were never disturbed by the cars. The whole neighborhood was quiet. Such a great place, highly recommend!

Gorgeous Pool! Host was very responsive:)
The place was perfect for our pretty large group. It was really close to a massive walmart neighborhood market where we could get all of our things. It was also very spacious. It had a total of 3 rooms in the house and one casita room that was attached. The place was stocked with kitchen essentials to cook. There were lots of towels which was great. The pool was gorgeous! It was the best part of the house. The down side was that you had to pay to turn on the jacuzzi (he has to turn it on for you) which is no surprise bc Ryan clearly states it in his rules and policy. It was just something different that I’ve experienced. However, Ryan was SUPER responsive which was one of the most important things a host could be. He answered all my billion questions I had (some late in the evening-sorry Ryan!). Overall, my friends and I had an AMAZING time! We would defintely recommend this place 100%.

Excellent property, great experience
Ryan's property was wonderful for our two families (4 adults, 5 teens from 14-17 years old). There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out together or get a little time apart if needed. The teens loved the pool and spent as much of our visit in it as possible! The location was convenient with a 25ish minute drive into Palm Springs and about the same to the south entrance of Joshua Tree. I would definitely stay again if we were heading back to the area!

A great home away from home!
Let me start by saying that the owners are extremely helpful and very responsive. Every time we had a question or a request they responded within 5 minutes (no joke that fast). The house was clean and had lots of extra towels, linen and shampoo, conditioner, etc. There was plenty of utensils, cups and plates in the kitchen. The pool and spa were very nice and clean. (just be advised the pool is quite deep, it goes from 5 to 10 feet, so make sure you have floaties or are able to swim). The casita is perfect especially if you have two or three families since it has a private entrance and a full bathroom, coach, stove and fridge. Overall this was a great experience and the owners were great too. I definitely recommend this house.
