This was a perfect little cabin for a long weekend stay. Lots to love about it!
Pros:
- Very close to town, which made getting groceries & supplies very easy. Also close to a couple of great restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking.
- The cabin was extremely clean. I didn’t feel like I had to clean before we unpacked or used the bathroom, etc
- Even though it’s between two other cabins, we found it very quiet, and the fire pits for each cabin are spaced far enough away that it felt private.
- The bed was super comfy, and the shower had plenty of hot water for two long showers.
- TVs in both rooms had Roku, so we were able to log into our Hulu account and watch our shows at night. Also a ton of DVDs in the various drawers to choose from.
- The owner could not have been a nicer human being, and was responsive to texts when we had any questions. She made our stay lovely!
Cons:
- Would be nice to have a dishwasher. I like to cook, so we spent a lot of time hand-washing dishes.
- Ditto on having a washer/dryer. Since we were doing outdoorsy stuff every day, we had to pack a bunch of damp, muddy clothing home, and I’d have loved to wash and dry them at the cabin.
- The couch in the living room wasn’t particularly soft, or roomy enough for two adults to lounge around on. It’s also on the other side of the room from the TV, so we ended up watching TV in the bedroom instead.
- Wifi was slow/spotty during our stay, though when it worked, it was nice to have!
