A dream week at Casa Flores
We had a wonderful time at Casa Flores! The place exceeded our expectations, we really fell in love with the terrace on the 3rd floor, the swimming pool and the lovely garden filled with exotic plants. Brenda and Brian were incredible hosts, they welcomed us warmly and gave us valuable advice for our stay. It’s a week we will never forget and we will definitely return!

Magnifique maison!

Loved it!!
Planning on going with friends, it ended up being just me and by boyfriend. Sadly we didn't get to meet Brenda, but Brian was an excellent host, leading us to all the best beach and sunset spots, helping us find restaurants and our way around the island. The house was perfect and we were in the pool everyday! Also, love feeding Hector the iguana everyday! Would definitely rent again!!

Perfect home in the center of the Island
We were very happy with our stay at Casa Flores. It's centrally located making it easy to get from one end of the island to the other. It was very clean and well maintained and very nicely decorated. A/C in the bedrooms was a must as the humidity in July was unbearable while we were there. The owner was on site and went above and beyond to be helpful. Highly recommend this property.

Top 5 Reasons to Stay at Casa de Flores
We are giving it a five out of five even with the dog next door....Here are our top five reasons to stay at Casa de Flores on Isla Mujeres. No. 5) Décor was beautiful and beachie, a lot of extra touches done to make it feel warm and welcoming No. 4) Isla Mujeres people were so kind and friendly. Everywhere you go people were smiling, singing and genuinely happy No. 3) Location - away from the resorts and in a local neighborhood, I could throw a stone and hit Oscar's pizza. Where we ate several times - fantastic food. Also within half a mile of Chedraui, the largest store there. No. 2) Beautiful court yard and pool. Patio lounging was a must every day! No. 1) Hosts Brenda and Brian - very thoughtful from leaving the Christmas tree up a little longer for us to enjoy to all of the little things done to make our stay more enjoyable. Them being able to acquire transportation for our duration, their recommendations were spot on and everything was perfect - exactly what we were looking for in a vacation VRBO.

Wonderful home on Isla
We stayed at Casa Flores for 11 nights and absolutely loved it. The house itself is beautiful and spacious, and set up well for an extended stay. It's located in a great little neighborhood, walking distance to several restaurants and a very short drive from many more. A small tienda at the end of the block is perfect for grabbing ice and a six pack. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio and plunge pool; it's nice to have a way to cool down on the days you just feel like lounging and not going to the beach. Finally, Brenda and Brian were the most gracious an lovely hosts. I can't say enough good things about them. They were great to communicate with and Brian had lots of great local suggestions, even for folks who have been to Isla multiple times. Lovely home, lovely hosts, Casa Flores gets our highest recommendation!

Wonderful stay!
Casa Flores is a little piece of paradise tucked into a local neighborhood. The garden and pool area are beautiful. A little oasis. We would drink our morning coffee each day on the patio overlooking the pool. The house itself is comfortable and well stocked and full of charming, thoughtful touches - loved the "hat tree" in the bedroom. It's close to restaurants and stores but away from the hustle and bustle of the North end. Brenda and Brian are awesome hosts. From the booking process to arriving on the island to our stay, they were so helpful and happy to answer our questions. Thank you Brenda and Brian for a wonderful stay and sharing your beautiful casa! Give Marley, Buddy and Blackie a pat on the head from us.

Beautiful Casa!
I can’t say enough about this property. So beautiful and even better than the pictures. So much attention to detail and such beautiful gardens. I can’t say enough. Brenda and Brian were so friendly and helpful and I feel we’ve made new friends. The beds were comfortable and everything was so well equipped compared to other properties we’ve stayed in. We rented a golf cart for the first day to get supplies and after that took taxis everywhere and it worked well for us and so much less expensive. We walked to north beach and also to Punta sur. It’s nice being mid island in the local neighbourhood. The grocery store is within a fifteen minute walk and lots of great restaurants close by. We had a great vacation. Thanks Brenda and Brian for your hospitality!!

Island Paradise
Isla Mujeres is truly a hidden paradise from the sandy, beautiful warm beaches to the many wonderful locals throughout the island. I specifically returned to stay at Casa Flores after it had been far too long since my last trip to Isla Mujeres. Brenda and Brian are amazing hosts and consistently go above and beyond to make our stay a memorable experience. Everything was perfect! Staying at Casa Flores is a MUST for anyone really wanting to be just a walk away from some of the best places to eat and enjoy a drink of your choice but with the privacy of being home while relaxing at the pool on a sunny day! Don’t make the mistake of staying anywhere else and be disappointed. I have already booked for next winter!

Had an amazing time on Isla Muejers and Casa Flores! Brenda and Brian were wonderful hosts, they took care of so many details (golf cart, airport/ferry transport, fishing trip) making easy and relaxing for our stay! Above and beyond, they set up a personal chef who came over and cooked a fish dinner from the fish caught on our day trip! Ziggy was awesome the dinner and experience was amazing. Fantastic!
Brenda and Brian were warm, friendly and generous hosts. They made a point to casually check in with us each morning to make sure all was smooth, and that we had everything we needed. They were completely unobtrusive, yet also arranged a cart for us, suggested favourite tequilas and restaurants, gave us bug repellant, showed us around a bit, introduced us to the neighborhood shop keeper etc., etc. We spent more time at our accommodations than typical, as the patio and garden were a lovely, calm oasis amid the heat and the hustle and bustle of the authentic Mexican neighborhood. Most mornings we walked about 10 steps to the corner store to buy 2 or 3 eggs, then ate a leisurely breakfast on the patio while admiring the tastefully planted garden, and watching for Hector, the resident iguana. It was wonderful then, to take a quick dip in the pool, before heading out to the beach or cruising the island in our golf cart. We spent many afternoons and evenings enjoying drinks and floating in the pool as well. Really, we loved the private dipping pool!! It was kept spotlessly clean and was always cool and refreshing. Although we were rarely indoors, when we did go in, we had everything we needed: air conditioned bedrooms, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen including a blender, a take one-leave one library, carrier bags, sun hats, beach chairs and umbrella, a blue tooth speaker and plenty of hot water. We thought Casa Flores was a great value and would not hesitate to recommend it to others or to book it again ourselves! Thank you so much B & B!!!

Casa Flores didn’t disappoint
This is our2nd stay at Cada Flores and the house was as wonderful as we remembered. Though Brenda and Brian had to be away when we arrived and during the bulk of our stay, everything was taken care of. They arranged to have someone meet us when we arrived as well as to ensure we got anything we needddduring the stay. The house is very comfortable with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lots of outside space. I highly recommend Cada Flores to anyone looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the North Beach area. Take note, Cada Flores is in a neighbourhood of locals so at times there are noises from some construction during the day in the neighbourhood but that adds to the experience of being among the local residents. There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance and you can never go wrong with a recommendation from Brenda or Brian Overall, Cada Flores is a clean, well maintained property that has everything thing you need to enjoy your stay. I highly recommend Cada Flores and feel it is a great value

Perfect Vacation Home
Just got back from a great vacation on Isla with my wife and teenage daughters. Brenda is a great host and was always available to answer any questions about Isla. She even arranged for a golf cart on arrival. The house is beautiful and very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. We spent most of the time at the house enjoying the many outdoor areas, especially the courtyard pool area. The courtyard is private and relaxing, and the gardens around the pool are beautiful. The table in the shade is a perfect spot for breakfast and evening drinks. We bought pastries every afternoon from one of the street vendors that passed by and enjoyed them for breakfast the next day. There are several great restaurants within walking distance or a short golf cart drive away. We enjoyed restaurants geared towards tourists and as well as ones that mostly served locals. The food on Isla is great. We loved exploring the local neighborhoods around the house by golf cart. If you are looking for a vacation that is not your typical resort or hotel this house is perfect. I highly recommend this house. Thanks Brenda (and Buddy). We will be back!!

Great Location, Comfortable House and Great Owners
An important part of any trip is the preparation and planning and that is an area where Brenda and Brian made our trip easy and stress free. No matter what question we had not only about Casa Flores but anything about Isla Mujeres, there was always a response from Brian and Brenda within a day or so with not only the answer to the question but also other useful suggestions and information. Brian and Brenda even arranged a very affordable golf cart rental for us. During our stay, both Brenda and Brian went out of their way to ensure that there was nothing that we needed and also provided some great suggestions of places to see or places to eat. They also respect their guests privacy. It is obvious that both Brian and Brenda are dedicated to ensuring all of their guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience on Isla Mujeres. Casa Flores is located in a residential area of Isla Mujeres and allows you to experience more than you could at a resort or hotel. Every morning you can buy fresh made juice, tortillas or sweet breads from a number of local vendors. You quickly learn what they are selling by the honking of the horn. Casa Flores is a beautiful place and is spacious and comfortable, the beds are very comfortable and both bedrooms are a very good size. There are 3 separate deck/patio ares to relax and we really enjoyed the top deck for our evening cocktail hours. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook full dinners including roasting a chicken one night for dinner. We would highly recommend Casa Flores to anyone that wants to have an exceptional holiday and truly experience an authentic Mexican experience. Beautiful!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Flores for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it! Brenda and Brian were perfect hosts and extremely helpful. The house is just like the pictures and the third floor terrace was quite peaceful in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was there. We will definitely go back and would recommend this home to everyone!

the sweet spot!
my husband and i just returned from a weeklong stay at brenda and brian's "casa flores". having never been to isla before, we found that the location allowed for many authentic experiences that would not have been possible if we were at a resort or private villa on the beach. everyday, vendors in carts announced their offerings: fresh cheese, orange juice, sweet bread for sale while children joyfully played games in the street (alongside dogs, roosters and cats) and steps away, we bought fresh tortillas, a couple of eggs, and milk at the corner store for breakfast. having rented a golf cart, we spent many days relaxing on playa norte, discovering the southern end and eating delicious food everywhere we stopped! most importantly, brenda and brian are the perfect hosts. they will do anything to help guests feel comfy be it, suggest places to eat, snorkle, swim, or rent golf carts. their hospitality is sincerely generous yet, they will leave you alone if so desired. oh yes, can't forget about "buddy", the lamonica's 7 year old pug or "hector" the (very shy) resident iguana. muchas gracias otra tiempo, brenda and brian!

A week at our happy place
We love Isla! This was our third trip to the island, so we decided to try something different and rent a house. There were only two of us so we had plenty of room! Brenda was there the first couple of days to show us around the house and answer any questions we had. Good neighborhood location mid-island, so easy to get north or south. If you are a light sleeper, beware, the roosters start crowing way before sunrise! AC in the bedrooms made sleeping more comfortable and opening the windows in the rest of the house kept the house from getting too hot. Having the pool downstairs and the sun deck off the master was nice on those days we wanted to chill at the house. Parking our golf cart outside was easy. Would definitely recommend Casa Flores, especially for larger groups and those with kids.

Incredible Holiday
Casa Flores and our host Brenda were amazing. First trip to Isla Mujeres and Wow. What a place. Words can not discribe. Whale sharks were incredible, we were lucky to see turtles nesting, turtle in the sea, rays swiming. I can not put into words this place other than paradise. Casa flores is perfectly located no corporate rubbish. Local kids playing in the street real life. House is wonderfull, pool perfect and still accessible to everything. Don't hesitate book this island and Brenda's Casa. We hope to return sooner rather than later.

Comfortable house and great location
My brother and I spent a week in Casa Flores, and this house was perfect for us. It is very comfortable, spacious and artfully decorated. A big plus for me was that it is not in a gringo neighborhood. Nor in the middle of the central downtown tourist/ferry boat/commercial area. By golf cart, which I definitely recommend renting, you are 10 minutes away from all of this. Brenda, the owner of Casa Flores, was a great resource before and during our stay.
