We had booked and our printed reservation confirmed that we had reserved an accessible room as my wife has mobility issues. We checked in after we had eaten dinner and planned to remain in the room the rest of the night so we completely unpacked. My wife decided to shower. She was completely undressed before she noticed that the bathroom had a regular bathtub with a high side to step over and no grab bars. It was definitely not an “accessible” bathroom. At that point it was too late to ask to be moved to a different room. Therefore I had to stay in the bathroom while she showered to make sure she didn’t slip and fall and to help her get in and out of the tub. Likewise the dispensing bottles containing the shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap were attached in a holder and therefore not movable and extremely difficult to reach and use in not only the bathtub but also the sink. We believe that we deserve a refund or credit for the extreme inconvenience we encountered with a room that was not what we booked.
The desk lamp did not work as it had apparently been taken apart to be repaired and not put completely back together. The TV worked fine but the TV remote control selector was held together by rubber bands because its battery cover was missing.
