My 12 year old son and I spent our spring break in Amelia Island as first timers. The check in process with the exception of knowing the gate code was seamless. I received several text messages prior to our arrival making sure we knew how to get in the unit and a number to text during our stay for any issues.
The view is lovely, parking is convenient, the walk to the beach is pleasant. I was surprised with how uncrowded the beach was.
The property was clean and cozy. The decor is dated. The televisions are small. There are items that need repair: the window handle to open the window in the master is broken, the knobs on the kitchen cabinets are loose, the faucet handle in the kitchen is loose, the dryer is extremely loud.
If you are okay with the basics you will enjoy this property.
