Our family of 5 was very comfortable here during our stay. The home is large enough for everyone to spread out, or spend time together. The games in the basement were enjoyable, and the DVD collection was impressive. The mountain community is very nice, and very quiet. We only met one other family during our stay, and they happened to be out for a walk and lived down the street.
The house was clean and well stalked. They had just about anything you could need in the kitchen, lots of spices, coffee, enough dishes and silverware for what we needed, and pots and pans. The grill was in good working order, and the outside fireplace was great for making smores with the sticks we brought. Beds are comfortable enough, lots of blankets, pillows, and towels for the family.
Raystown Lake resort was close enough for us to visit twice, once to rent a boat and enjoy the lake. Hiking is close by as well, and it was a short drive to state college.
We felt at home and will likely return.
