Despite booking our travel more than 10 days in advance, we got completely ghosted by the host. I thought that maybe she was just waiting until the day of to send us the details about accessing the property, etc, but no. No respinse in the app and no amswering of phone.We were traveling to NYC for an important business meeting, with our kids, and the stress of not havinga place to go when we landed at the airport was aweful.VRBO customer support was great, thank god, and we were able to find alternate accommodations. This definitely rattles my confidence on using the site again for future trips, however. Property owners who do this should not be allowed to participate on the site.
