This is and old two floor motel recently restored into a hotel. As such, no elevator was available. Other than that, excellent location and staff.

Overall we like staying at this hotel. The only negatives I have are that the futon/couch is not ideal for sleeping (the room says it sleeps 6 so this is intended for 2 people) and they had none of the outside lights on in the morning. I almost fell down the outdoor stairs because it was so dark you couldn’t see how many steps there were. My dad almost rolled an ankle because he couldn’t see the curb when loading the car early in the morning.

The pictures of the property are misleading, making it look like a hotel, but it is a motel with exterior access doors. My husband and I stayed here with our dog to break up a 20-hour drive and we intentionally look for hotels vs. motels so our dog isn't on such high alert. Luckily, we were on the second floor where there wasn't as much outside noise, but we were very disappointed to find out that this was a motel, especially given the price. Generally, it was relatively clean and we are happy that they allowed dogs, but the photos of this property are misleading.

The 8.0 rating and the pictures don’t do it proper justice. The rendering of the front of the building and pictures are misleading. The ceiling has water damage where it had been painted over but the brown was still seeping thru. The bed sheets were old, the bed was probably older and the rooms were cramped.

It was fine for a one night stay but it is in need of updating. The bed mattress was an innerspring that you could feel every single one digging into your body. The person that helped us at check in was delightful and I really wish I remembered her name.
