Nice for swimming
Pool was perfect. No need to worry about the floors getting wet or dirty as they are concrete. Beds were nice. It was over 100 degrees and the swamp cooler really didn't cut it. Not recommended if over 90 outside. It was down the street from my dad's house so the location was perfect for us.

Peaceful Getaway
The Splash House was a perfect getaway spot. Close to local hiking, food, and leisure. Check in was easy. We had a minor issue with the WiFi and the host was quick to respond. Highly recommend.

Great property, not well maintained
It is a beautiful house. The stay could have been amazingly pleasant. The bedrooms were nice and clean. But in the master bedroom the toilet in the bathroom and the closet in the room must share the same ventilation. I spare the reader with further details. Unfortunately, there is only one sun bed, not two as advertised. The fire pit is broken. The table was dirty and there was some hair from other people on the floor. The pans were burnt. Before we came I got a very threatening email that I have to send a picture of my ID card and a selfie or I would loose my money. No other alternative :( ! We had a great weekend, but it could have been better!

Perfect Desert Getaway
The location is a great spot within walking distance of cute little shops, a great coffee shop, and the Joshua Tree National Park. The majority of the “main tourist attractions” are closed Tuesdays and Wednesday and other small shops and restaurants close relatively early on weeknights, 6pm. The locals weren’t very friendly in Joshua Tree. The locals in 29 Palms were very friendly. But back to the Splash House…it was perfect for coming back from climbing rocks in the Joshua Tree National Park and dipping in the pool to cool off. The beds and linens were so comfortable. Plenty of towels for the pool and showers. Plenty of extra pillows and sheets. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner smelled so nice. The one neighbor has dogs that are fence aggressive. There was also Goats Tail and Fox Tail spikes that were mainly in the backyard that would get stuck in our dogs paws, but the front yard seemed to be better. We really liked the front yard also being fenced.

We went here for a lil staycation with our 2 dogs, the house is great to stay with your fur babies with a very open layout. Lots of windows that provide beautiful natural sunlight. Super easy check-in and check-out.

Perfect for visit to the park
My family of five stayed here for three nights and spent two days visiting JTNP. The house was a perfect location for accessing the park and had everything we needed. Communication and check in was very easy with the property management company. The pool was nice, but unfortunately too cold to use (the weather was only in the 60s!). Would definitely stay again!

Great little place!
This is a great place near the Entrance to Joshua Tree park. The directions were spot on. Once arriving entry was simple and the place was super clean. Everything we needed for our one night stay was there. The weather was a little cool to use the pool but no worries the Jenga proved our group with a little friendly competition. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. 29 Palms is maybe 15 mins in traffic and the opposite direction takes you to Yucca Vally which has a number of options for grabbing anything you need for your stay. Everything was great and as hosts ourselves we appreciated all the small details. I would stay again without hesitation.

Great communication with the property manager, and a reasonable price for what you get. The front door lock was broken, the shower was completely covered in mildew, the paint throughout the home was patchy, and the beds were uncomfortable. But again, you get what you pay for and I feel as though this home was priced to match the experience.

This house fits its location in the town of Joshua Tree. It had been updated in a way that feels like a do it yourself Home Depot remodel. Everything works and it’s clean and comfortable. But the bedroom doors have been replaced with “barn doors” that don’t quite fit, for example. We liked it and would stay there again.

Fantastic place! Clean, comfortable and close to west national park entrance. The pool looked so perfect, but it was the wrong month to enjoy it. Our golden retriever absolutely loved the fenced in front and back yards. Beds were comfy. BYO toaster. Plenty of room for a family of five. Made s’mores in the fire pit. Would def stay here again.

Great Getaway for an Auntie n her 3 nieces!
Fun memories! The pool was the highlight and the pool man was great in assuring me it was safe after the last guest and putting a lock on the gate for safety. The girls loved their own rooms, floating chairs and the beds were so comfy n bathrooms pretty n spacious! We had a S’mores night and a tea party that was fun! Great restaurants nearby w great Vegan options! Not much for kids (and with a dog )to do during the week but it was s relaxing time away. We would come back during the weekend w/o our pet to explore more! The hi desert staff was soooo responsive to my many questions and made is feel right st home . This property was perfect for our Joshua Tree vacation. About 30 min from popular trails at the national park. After hiking, we would enjoy the beautiful pool at the property. We were also close to good restaurants and stores. Overall a wonderful stay!
