When we booked this property we saw that it stated it was a "Home, 2 Bedrooms, sleeps 4". So we were quite surprised to arrive here and realize this was a multi unit property. Based on the VRBO posting, we had thought it would be a standalone space with a private backyard. We felt the photos of the space online were misleading and didn't reflect the value of what we spent. Especially because we didn't feel comfortable sharing the backyard space with strangers, meaning we didn't use the pool area at all. Also, the people sharing the other side were out there with many guests until 1-2am.
Additionally, the inside of the property had a stale cigarette smell, and the rugs are covered in stains making the home feel dirty. The only mirror is inside the bathroom which is challenging with 3-4 people staying here. There were also a small amount of shower towels and kitchen supplies. There were no beach towels etc. which would be nice for people who flew in. We also could have used a broom and dust pan or vacuum handy for sand/dirt.
Ultimately, we felt like the post of the property was misleading to us as consumers, and that we overpaid for our stay here.
