Kaleden is a quiet hamlet located on the shores of Skaha Lake 10 minutes between Penticton and OK Falls. Possibly the best kept secret in the Okanagan, Kaleden has its' own Pioneer Park with sandy beach, roped in swimming area with floating docks, tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas, bbq and firepits, gazebos, playground and boat launch. Jet ski, paddle board, kayak rentals available. The most prominent feature on the beach is the old Kaleden Hotel circa 1912, standing on what is now a picnic area and photo destination. Kaleden is also home to several wineries and the gorgeous Linden Gardens and Frog City Cafe. Through Kaleden, along the Lake's edge, passes the KVR Trail -great walking and cycling! Just 30-40 min drive from Apex Mountain Resort.
