The views and amenities are some of the best on the island. Westin / Mauna Kea have fabulous restaurants, and many choices are near. The best beach, people, grounds, just perfect. The unit is beautiful, kitchen is STOCKED(not food, supplies), welcome coffee & filters supplied. Bathrooms have blowdryers, soap, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper in each. The owner was responsive. Would return without hesitation.
Suggestions to ensure 100%:
- Before arrival, Ensure you have Key App (supplied by owner of unit), Email from resort to add $100/day/unit (not person) to have access to amenities at Westin/ Mauna Kea and gym and parking pass to other resort, Code for parking lot to the unit, Wifi passwords. Especially if checking in after hours.
- If you ask, owner will supply vacuum and full cleaning supplies. This is reality vs. desire to clean. It did not take much and it was nice to keep it fresh. In suite laundry helps too
Suggestions to improve are minimal:
- Consider ability to have 2 singles in 2nd bdrm. The Queen is very small. Then you can configure as you like.
- Increase wifi for bedrooms
- Have 4 pillows / bed instead of 3
Truly, it was priced competitively against other units which caused some hesitation, lol, none was needed. It is beautiful, the unit location at the end of the hallway is also ideal!
