I never saw any staff the entire time we were there, they texted me that I could not check in until 3 (Fine) and when we got there I was very disappointed. The outlets we needed to charge our phone were behind the bed and when I looked back there there was tons of dust and actual garbage, I was the dirtiest place I have stayed in a long time and was no bargain. For sure not worth the money!

I love the historic, old-west, rustic feel of the lodge. Being adjacent to the river is an added benefit.

The room was cute, but everything was old & dusty...window screens broken and torn with dust and cobwebs, and the bedding was well-worn. The bathroom was fairly clean, but the shower curtain had mildew. There was a funny smell to the room, like an air freshener trying to cover a smoke/pet smell? Overall, however, not a bad experience. This was the only room left in the area and it was reasonable, so we weren't expecting much. The hospitality was nice, just not the cleanest experience.

Easy access to everything in town. I have stayed several times in Kernville. The Riverview Lodge by far is the most convenient location. A private river access point and private parking was an awesome bonus. Kernville is a fun town to visit with it's historic feel and weekly community gatherings in the summer are always packed and so much fun to join. The entire town is very welcoming and the staff of the Riverview Lodge are no different. They made everything easy. Check-in was a breeze and checkout was even easier. Having a fridge/microwave and balcony to hang out on added to the experience! I highly recommend checking them out if you are going to stay in town.

Very nice place central to almost everything you need, the room was very clean and comfortable! The manager was very nice even after getting up at 4:30 am to unlock my door after locking myself out!
