We were informed many times via email and text that our rental home would be ready at 4:00 PM on Thursday February 8th.
I checked in via a text to Vacasa at 9:00 AM on the day of our check in to learn if we could obtain an early checking say 1:00 or 2:00 PM but we were again informed that our home would be ready at 4:00 PM; no problem at all as we knew the rules well in advance!
When we arrived at 3:51 PM our home was not cleaned, beds not made, dirty towels on the floor, dirty dishes in the sink.
So there I am with 5 other people having to call Vacasa to see how to remedy the problem.
I spoke with Carlos C and he connected me with Nikki the Local Property manager.
Nikki had a crew at the home by 5:00 PM who managed to clean the entire home by 7:15 PM.
Just a bummer that Vacasa sent us so many communications that our home would be ready at 4:00 PM and then after our 8 hour drive only to find it a mess.
So we went and hung out until we could enter, unpack, etc at 7:30 PM. Missed our dinner reservations and Vacasa credited us our cleaning deposit but the evening was shot.
Not super excited to rent from Vacasa again concerned that this will happen again!!!
