If you don't trust your dogs not to run off, they can still spend time outside off leash on the second floor patio. It's equipped with a functional door/gate to keep your dogs from going down the stairs.
It's clean, well-stocked with everything that we could possibly need, and dog-friendly. The layout of everything is well thought-out, so even though the barn isn't huge, you've got a small kitchen with counter space and a fridge, small closet, desk, dining table, and plenty of seating inside and outside.
Laurel was communicative and one of the more thoughtful hosts I've rented from. We would love to come back.
I was a little worried about the separate toilet and shower, but it's actually really nice. Hot water, A/C unit to cut down on the humidity, space heater for those cold nights. It is a short walk from the barn and the path is well lit and level (little to no trip hazards).
You might hear the occasional road traffic, but you can't see the road and it feels quite secluded. You definitely hear the wildlife all around (birds, bugs in early fall).Surrounded by greenery with a nice view of the mountain. There are many places to sit and enjoy the outdoors with multiple/different views.
