6/10 Satisfaisant

Beautiful and private beach with plenty of lounge chairs available throughout the day. Pool is nice and overlooks the beach, but umbrellas are very limited. You have to walk up to the front desk for pool towels?! Why aren't these kept by the pool?
Very secluded location with the closest outside restaurants in Cane Bay (about 15 minutes away). Nothing within walking distance and the hills would make it a brutal hike. Two restaurants on-site. Only breakfast option is $32 per person buffet. Would have liked to have at least a coffee bar with pastries as an option.
Rooms are very dark and could use an update. Bed was very comfortable with fluffy linens. No luggage carts and no option to drive up to your room. Buildings are spread apart so be prepared for a trek.
Staff is mix of quality, those by the pool were friendly and very responsive. Staff at buffet only seemed interested in getting a tip for doing nothing - no bringing refills or fresh plates. Buffet was sparse and the two days we went the fruit was gone and not refilled. Staff at the front desk were useless - ran out of beach towels one day and didn't seem to care. No help in recommendations either. Also spotty on updating rooms with towels and toiletries.
Overall, the beach is one of the best on the island, but I would not go back or recommend the hotel.
