Upon arriving to this property our first observation was the strong moldy smell wafting from the basement.
There were tons of areas in the house that seem to have been neglected for several years:
A broken screen door tossed on the porch near old moldy cushions, etc...
A broken screen attached to the door with holes spattered throughout.
Evidence of leaks in a few areas of the ceiling.
Mold Growing in the corner of the basement by the couch.
Broken hooks, toilet paper holders etc and ill-suited ceiling repairs.
Dead bug bodies smashed against dirty walls that have not been painted in quite some time.
A falling apart access panel above your head in the downstairs shower.
Broken, back heavy dining chair that kept falling over (loose legs).
Broken swing, rotting away as you sit on it and mold all over the back door and other neglected items rotting away.
Loose stones all over the falling apart retaining wall. (tripping hazard)
Broken dock tossed in off to the side of the yard and other debris.
The full list of items that were in disrepair or needing attention is too long to mention.
In the places where things had been repaired, shoddy work was evident.
Overall, the disrepair and mold smell left us with an unpleasant experience.
My husband, an experienced contractor and handyman, took dozens of pictures of the places where this property needs some real TLC.
note, it asks for a rating for "communication with property manager" but there was no communication.
