Due to damage to the main power cable supplying electricity from the mainland to Koh Samui, power shortages and fluctuations are common and often without prior notice. These are beyond the control of the hotel and the hotel accepts no responsibility for power shortages or fluctuations to guest room supply. A backup generator services only the hotel common areas and restaurants (walkways, stairs, and reception). There is no backup power supply for air conditioners and water heaters.
