The mini refrigerator had no space , only you can put 4 or 5 cans of drinks. You wont be able to fit any 2L water bottle inside that. Smaller than any mini fridge I have ever seen, almost useless. And only one microwave in the lobbybeside receptionist.

Excellent hotel, conveniently situated from lots of Kyoto landmarks such as Nijō castle that is about a 20 minute walk. If you want to book a short stay in Kyoto I can't recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel was nice, the rooms are spacious and clean. I wouls stay here again, but the location was a bit far from central. If you lime quiet its the best place. I rented during renovations.. so I couldn't experience the dining nor has laundry. There wasnt much to do in the hotel. One th epostive side there was free sake event.

The place was spotless, quiet, and in a very central location for all temples and other spots that you need to visit. Almost every attraction you’d want to see in Kyoto is well within a 1h radius of the hotel. Staff were very kind and helpful

Comfortable hotel at a great price

The hotel offered a free shuttle to the Golden Temple and bamboo forest. We loved both, but if you have only one day in Kyoto, skip both and go to the 1000 Tori Gates at Fushimi Inari instead. The room was comfortable but small, as most hotel rooms in Japan are. Note that the hotel is about a 30-minute walk from the centre area.

Our group of 5 adults stayed in 2 small rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was my family’s favorite of all the places we stayed due to the mix of Japanese and Western food available. It’s less than a block from a subway station and we frequently walked to downtown for shopping and meals. The hotel has hourly shuttles to Kinkakuji and the bamboo forest. Oh, we also really loved the brewery that was on the same block - just a few doors north.

Best location. Right next to the subway station and walking distance to Shinjuku station and center I’d Shinjuku. The only complaint is the room size, which is kind of small, but this is probably common for Japanese hotels. Overall a great stay.

A very comfortbale, 3 day family stay for 4 people. The hotel was well located for the subway station and some nice local restaurants. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is nice and worth the price.
