Very cute little house! Perfect for 2 people. there was a little bit of confusion when checking in with the ladies at the front but no problem. Amazing location, close enough to the lake and boy was it was HOT! We stayed during the hottest time of year, the AC worked but the house didn't get cooler than 83°, slightly uncomfortable. Very easy drive to all the things in town, the grounds were quiet, always had our own space at the beach. Neighbors were very friendly. The house was.. relatively clean. Nothing that made me feel gross but there was some trash from the person who stayed before, crumbs and sand on the floors. We did have little visitor as well, I know it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to live in a house and not have a mice run around at some point. I usually wouldn't post about the little guy but the lack of care or urgency to rectify the situation when I let the owner know he had a mouse in the house gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Night 1 we saw him so the next day we bought a few traps on our own money. (a whole $5!.. sarcasm no big deal). But I let him know and he didn't seem worried, said he "Had never had that problem before and can send a cleaning person to lay traps". I would have been fine with that but he didn't respond with this until the afternoon of the NEXT day and by then we had already got our own. Didn't apologize or offer anything to make us feel more comfortable as we had 4 days left. Other than that, a very cute little place to live. Gave us the push in the right direction meeting new people and exploring the town. Would come back to Crazyhorse !
