Booked for a last minute weekend trip with two kids. The positives: super easy boat access. There's a small boat ramp and some slips (not sure if these are available to guests) and a cove where lots of people including us just beach the boat overnight. Easy parking over here too to make hauling stuff out to the boat easy. It's just around the corner from the London Bridge end of the channel where all the waterfront food and shops are. Excellent communication from the host and speedy replies - when we arrived there was no reservation on record for us, but the main office was able to get him on the phone right away to resolve it. Check in was really easy from that point on. A few things I didn't realize because I was booking quickly - this is a park unit in an RV park. Neighbors were super friendly and again parking was great in the carport probably could accommodate a watercraft also. Don't be surprised though when you arrive at a campground. Again - this is all fairly obvious from the listing photos and not a negative toward the property if you know what to expect. But the free boat parking and easy accessibility definitely outweighed these surprises. About the unit itself - nicely stocked and clean. pullout sofa was okay for two teens but could be tight for two adults. host let me know about this upfront. definitely feels like someone's active home they rent out so it's all about personal preference here (like half a bag of pasta in the pantry)
We had a nice weekend stay It is not fancy but it is a nice clean place to stay while visiting the lake. The owner Todd is easy to communicate with. Thanks for allowing us to rent your vacation home!
Great location, but the property needs some maintenance and deep cleaning. TVs don't work for streaming. The owner worked with us the first couple of days to get them fixed, but was unsuccessful so he quit communicating with us.
Located very near a great biking and walking trail. Also close to very good restaurants. Had trouble with the TVs, but we never called for assistance, so Todd never had a chance to make it right. Thatâs on us. Bed was much softer than we like. 3â foam topper. If you like super sinking in, youâll like the bed. Quiet neighbors. Great area to visit.
The property itself is good. The RV Park needs a lot of work. Roads and cleanliness are needed. We tried using the screen on the patio door. It would not slide. We tried fixing it but needs a little attention.
Location was in rv part so we met lots of very nice people. Close to all amenities like London Bridge , great restaurants etc.The park model unit had everything we needed was quite comfortable and lots of outdoor space. We would definitely book the place again, price was reasonable and owner very helpful .
Perfect location for a weekend of racing at Crazy Horse
Nice little unit in Crazy Horse Campground, we've been coming to Havasu for 35+ years and stay in various places depending on what we want/need. Cozy place, the AC works great, excellent water pressure and the wifi/internet is fast! I would say that the sofa sleeper is better suited for one adult, or a couple little kids, not two full size adults, unless you're good with being super-cozy. Partial view of the lake and lovely night-time city views at night from the patio. Love this area because it's easy walking (or biking) distance to so many options nearby. Excellent communication with the owner, always responsive.
The stay here made our time in Lake Havasu very pleasant. From the moment we booked, the host was communicative with us about the space the house provided. Since we booked for four adults, he mentioned it may be a little tight, but it was actually perfect for the four of us. We had access to the boat launch and were able to park our jetski on the shore for overnight parking. The people at the gate to check in were very friendly and offered their help if needed. We are looking now to purchase in or near this site since we had such an amazing time. Thank you again.
Made a quick run out to Havasu for a 3 day weekend of lake fun. The cottage was clean and updated and perfect for my husband and I. Great location on the island as well and we could launch our boat onsite. Nice stay.
The place was as description stated. The wifi didn't work and the TV in one room would never log on. We went to the lake on 7/5 and returned to no working water. It was warm inside during the day but night was okay. The washer in laundry area didn't take change and the token machine was broken we were also charged an additional 35 to park.
Great little property not the evening after a long lake day
A/C works GREAT at night, and got down to 70° soon after sunset...But I wouldn't want to hang out during the heat of the day, A/C just can't keep up with the blazing sun (inside peaked at 86 with A/C set to 75) ... Coils weren't frozen over, just not enough tonnage to keep up with a pre-man house in the đïž.
Everything was very clean and beds were very comfortable. And the perks of having a zero wait time at a dock is totally worth the place being a little warm during the day. Being on the water is where you should be during the day here anyway! đ
It is a beautiful area. The Crazyhorse Camp ground was nice. The actual home was very small and needed a bit of tlc. We had tv and internet for the first week, but then it was turned off. The property manager helped at first but then decided it wasn't his problem. So the last 3 weeks of our stay we had neither. The neighbors, who were permanent residents, fought throughout the night and were generally horrible. We will definitely be visiting Lake Havasu again, but NOT renting this unit.
Hello the house it self is nice there was a few thing wrong the key box to get the get put gave us problems the location of the house was not what we wanted there was cat hair all over the bathroom towels was kind of crazy two big towels and 5 floor towels with 2 wash clothes the bed in the room was not comfortable on one side it seemed to be more sore down we ran out of propane in the middle of cooking our dinner and was out of propane for 13 hours the own did apologize and sent me back 100 which was ok but my dinner alone was 100 that I was cooking plus I had to go get food so my kids didnât go to bed with out eating . The bugs outside the door was crazy. We left a day early.
We decided not to stay there as it was not what we thought it was suppose to be. It was a trailer in a trailer park. The bed mattress was thick piece of foam on top of bed springs!
Nice place with a great view and low traffic area.
This is a nice quiet place with a great view. Nice car port. Smart Tv to watch inside while chillin on the couch. Ac works good. Great kitchen with everything you need. Big outside patio you can sit in the bar stools and view Lake Havasu. The patio has a gas grill and a wood/charcoal grill and fire pit out back.
Very cute little house! Perfect for 2 people. there was a little bit of confusion when checking in with the ladies at the front but no problem. Amazing location, close enough to the lake and boy was it was HOT! We stayed during the hottest time of year, the AC worked but the house didn't get cooler than 83°, slightly uncomfortable. Very easy drive to all the things in town, the grounds were quiet, always had our own space at the beach. Neighbors were very friendly. The house was.. relatively clean. Nothing that made me feel gross but there was some trash from the person who stayed before, crumbs and sand on the floors. We did have little visitor as well, I know it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to live in a house and not have a mice run around at some point. I usually wouldn't post about the little guy but the lack of care or urgency to rectify the situation when I let the owner know he had a mouse in the house gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Night 1 we saw him so the next day we bought a few traps on our own money. (a whole $5!.. sarcasm no big deal). But I let him know and he didn't seem worried, said he "Had never had that problem before and can send a cleaning person to lay traps". I would have been fine with that but he didn't respond with this until the afternoon of the NEXT day and by then we had already got our own. Didn't apologize or offer anything to make us feel more comfortable as we had 4 days left. Other than that, a very cute little place to live. Gave us the push in the right direction meeting new people and exploring the town. Would come back to Crazyhorse !
Overall this property is nice and was perfect for my family. I will say the beds are not comfortable at all, like sleeping on coils. The bathroom smelled of urine, not sure if there is a plumbing issue. When we arrived the bathroom handsoap was empty, so you may want to consider bringing your own and the bathtowls are thin and very small. Part of the upgrades would be better quality towels. Overall a good stay and would consider this place again.
