Late Fall Adult Getaway
Spacious, well-designed home with inviting indoor and outdoor living areas. The kitchen is well-stocked, highly organized, and spotlessly clean, with appliances, cookware, and dishes all in excellent condition. The games room added a lot of fun to our stay, featuring foosball, ping pong, billiards, and darts. For those needing to work remotely, the desk setup was highly functional. Conveniently located near town and local activities, this home provided the perfect base for our family trip. The owner was exceptionally responsive both before and during our stay, quickly addressing any questions we had. We highly recommend this home for a memorable stay!

The place is beautiful and has the perfect location. We walked into town everyday. The mirror lake loop is great for exercise. The family enjoyed playing pool and the screened in porch was our favorite spot.

This is a great property, very spacious, well equipped kitchen. Great view of the Lake. Location is within walking distance to Town. Definitely not baby proof. Fantastic property for our family trip. Seamless experience from top to bottom, extremely satisfied with our choice. Greystone is a stunning Adirondack home, inside and out. We loved the style and architecture, made our trip more special. Mirror Lake stay exceeded expectations!
Our stay at the Greystone lodge was incredible. The weather over the weekend was not great, but thankfully the place is so beautiful that just staying there is a perfect vacation. The photos do not do this place justice and it was everything we wanted and more! The location is also perfect and a quick walk from anything you need. Beautiful views of Mirror Lake. Exceptional Stay!
We were blown away by how well this home suited our needs. As a group of unrelated couples there was apprehension about selecting a home rental for our annual friends reunion. While the description is accurate, it wasn’t readily obvious how private each bedroom is. Fantastic bedroom suites offered privacy, space, comfort and no bathroom sharing. Everyone relaxed and slept well. Early risers and night owls all co-existed in harmony. The many sitting areas were wonderful for our group and we appreciated that all of us were able to gather in the kitchen, living room, dining table. We all remarked on the beautiful view and location. Amenities, cleanliness, check in and out all contributed to a great experience. While we didn’t have children with us for this trip, it seems like a great home for kids too and in fact one of the couples rented for a family trip in January that includes children. That says it all! Thank you for a great trip.

It has been such an absolute pleasure since the very start of my communication about the beautiful Greystone lodge. We wanted a special home to gather and celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and this home was just perfect for us (3 couples, 3 kiddos and one spoiled dog). Dates for our stay were accommodating and every question was answered in such very nice, professional manner. The home is just stunning- it has a beautiful interior in addition to being a great location, within walking distance of the village. This is an amazing property. There is not one thing I can think of as a recommendation/suggestion. The furniture (both indoor and outdoor) is top-quality and comfortable. All of the bedding is exactly what you would expect in your own home, quality and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you think you will need. The game rooms and covered/screened in porches helped to pass the time on a rainy afternoon. On nice days, the views are amazing and the walk around mirror lake is charming. We walked most of the time, as everything is so accessible. Great roads, trails to walk your dog if you bring one. The owners were responsive to questions and accommodating. We hope to return in the winter for skiing! Thank You!

Great Greystone! Amazing house and amenities. Beautiful views and superb location, quick drive to Whiteface and we even walked into town. Exceeded expectations. Bedroom suites are all like masters and bunk room and games a highlight. Wonderful family trip for all, one of the best vacations we've had and a testament to the comfort and great amenities of this home. Super kitchen too, we planned more nights out but just ended up at 'home', great for apres ski. Highly, highly recommend.

Exceptional house and exceptional experience
Exceeded expectations, our best VRBO experience. We felt welcome from moment we walked in, easy check in & out. Well organized home, had what we needed and more. Beautiful and grand, nicely decorated with comfy spots to relax. Our active and inactive family members all thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lake Placid and this home absolutely met our needs and much more, made the trip for us! Weather allowed us to do a lot of walking and this location was ideal plus a beautiful view. Spent a few ski days at Whiteface - we skied above mid mountain the whole time and had a great time. I totally enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the main floor suite after skiing. We all loved the fireplace and had a great time soaking up the Adirondack vibe with a glass of wine, felt like a special getaway, had a fun family ping pong tournament too. Would love to return when Mirror Lake is iced over, the only bummer was we missed this and would love to return to Greystone for more winter fun. Absolutely recommend. Owners were great with info that helped us plan our trip. Thank you for a great time!

Super house, great location, beautiful view. All the amenities needed and more. Better than the photos! Thoughtful and responsive host. Loved the grand living room with fireplace. Comfortable furniture and beds. Super experience at Whiteface. Our friends from Canada had such a great time that they already booked for a future long weekend. Highly recommend and we'll be back too!
