Both my wife and I needed to use the internet over Christmas for our work and there was no password left on the premises that we could see to access the WiFi. We had to leave early because the mobile coverage there was poor, we emailed the property managers however due to the Christmas break the office was unmanned and when they finally did return my email (we had already left the property and gone home) they informed us the the “password is on the fridge” which it was not. We had to leave early after just 4 days of our 7 day stay and had left by the time they got back to us. We had rented relyimg on the fact that the property was advertised as having free WiFi, this turned out not to be the case and it ruined our stay, we would not be using this service again I’m afraid which is a shame because it was a lovely holiday house but was not “as advertised and the managers made us feel like we were the idiots for not being able to decifer the password which was apparently written on the modem ( we tried those letters and numbers which did not work)
I don’t think it’s a huge ask when you advertise free WiFi to leave a clear sign indicating the WiFi name and password
Thanks
