Family stay at South Lake Tahoe

Smooth check in and check out. Nice varieties of tea, hot cocoa and coffee at reception in the morning. Friendly staff. Gave free upgrade to large room. Sheets and towels not very clean, children were grossed out to sleep on them or take shower. Found large blob of dark hair on my white towel as I was trying to dry myself after the shower. Shower head was clean and modern.

It was a ski trip for us so the location was excellent since the resort was within a walkable distance from the inn. The management team was very friendly and helpful. Also, they let us park there in the morning before we checked in and the afternoon after we checked out which was really great. The room has a fridge and microwave oven which was convenient for us. It also included free coffee at the front desk area in the morning. All in all, it met all our needs for the purpose of trip and i would have rated a 5 star if not because of the cockroach running around on the headboard and the wall at night.

Nice staff. Short walk to the Gondola and places to eat. Style of room was newer/renovated motel room. Value for money considering the price of other properties in the area. No resort fee :)

Excellent small friendly family owned place conveniently located w many walkable options for food, entertainment and shopping. Also easy walkable access to Heavenly shuttle and TART bus stops. Rooms not giant but sufficient w all necessary amenities (minus coffee maker but free coffee morings in lobby and Starbucks across the street.
