Main complaint is somewhere between the lodge management and hotels.com there is some serious issues and misrepresentation of the lodge and rooms.
This put a serious damper on the first leg of our honeymoon.
For one Tower Blue and Sand Tower all are managed by Crystal Lagoon Lodge, which is a couple of buildings down the road. Crystal Lagoon Lodge is where you check, need to go for queries and go for breakfast in the morning. It is pleasant walk in the morning along the beach walkway but in rainy weather can be unpleasant.
We booked a room clearly marked as sea-view standard suite, on our arrival we were given a dark room on the ground floor on the road side of the building with no sea-view or patio. After complaining we were given an open room in Sand Tower, it was a basic room with nice patio with sea-view for our first 3 nights. Although cheaper room we did agree to it, no partial refund offered for the cheaper room.
For the 4th night we had option for the ground floor room or another 4star room in Crystal Lagoon with small windows looking out to the alley with no patio. Was then offered the Crystal Lagoon honeymoon suite but had to pay the difference which we took.
Other than management and their seemingly inability to fix problems that is not the clients fault, staff is very nice and efficient, room were clean albeit bit on the small side, showers are so-so with bad water pressure. Honeymoon suite is very very nice. Breakfast is nice buffet.
