I really hate writing this because I’ll have to re-live the horrible experience, but here goes anyway…
My husband and I booked this location via VRBO for our 8th Anniversary in Vegas. StripViewSuites is the Property Management company, and I don’t know which company is worse but I’ll share my experience with StripViewSuites…
We were supposed to get our checkin info on the day we were to arrive which was 10/15/22. Our checkin time was at 4pm. At 2pm on this day I messaged the host to let them know we had not received any checkin info. They messaged back saying that they would send it shortly. At 4pm when it was time to checkin we still had not received any checkin info so I reached back out to the host. They apologized for the delayed info. and about 10 minutes later we received instructions on how to check into our unit.
As we went to find somewhere to park, there was nothing available. We went to ask the front desk rep if there was a code to the on site parking garage, and he stated that the owner had to provide that. After multiple attempts to get the code from the property management company, they refused. They told us that “street parking” was available; however, they must not be familiar with the property or may be misinformed. There were probably a total of about 15 parking spots with 400 units in the building. We had no where to park, and we were not allowed to have the code to the on site parking garage. Several hours later, my husband and I were able to park in 1 of the 15 spots, but because we knew that we would quickly lose our spot if we moved to unload luggage, we instead rolled all our luggage up a steep hill to avoid losing our parking. When we messaged the host about this incident, they began to send us pictures of where we could park. They sent pictures circling wrong areas. It was clear that they were not familiar with the property. They never called us. They would only respond via text even when we requested that they call. And many times, hours would go by without any response from them. It was probably 11pm or so before we found a park.
We later learned that we could park at another property that was close by, and this is what we did for the remainder of the trip.
While the room and property were nice, at night, it was really dark, and I did not feel safe. Where we had to park was about a 5 minute walk from our room. At night you could not even see in front of you. Poor parking, lighting and customer service.
