It is attached to the convention center. We were in the far east tower obviously the oldest part, only 2 of 4 elevators working , water pressure and hot water very poor with abnormal odor

It's okay, the property need to be upgraded, and too much smokers inside the property so you have to deal with second hand smoke once you leave your room, and we were charge for a microwave $25 a day like really just crazy i really think all rooms should come with a microwave.

The Westgate is fine, its a classic middle of the Road Vegas property. No true hotel updates, overpriced rooms and drinks, no value for the resort charges and ho hum service. Rooms at the Fountainbleu were $40 more per night...too bad a was booked all weekend!

Family friendly but needs service improvement

If you’re looking for family friendly resort off the strip but close by, Westgate is a good option. While we were there over a busy holiday weekend , only 2 of 4 elevators were in service for our tower and one day we ended up having to walk down the emergency stairs due to people backed up waiting on every floor for the elevator. The 2 working elevators were not even a large size. Seemed like a poor time to be running 50% , or at least give a warning and offer another tower or some sort of credit/refund. I waited in line about 35 mins to check in, and wasn’t given basic information such as what tower I was in , how to find the room , where to park, etc. Typically resorts give maps so you know what amenities and food are offered onsite and how to get there. The room seemed to be cleaned in a haste as we found a used dirty Kleenex near our bed , trash remains in the closet and dust built up on the vents. The rooms are also not well insulated from sound. People hung out laughing and talking in our hall til after midnight and I had to go ask them to quiet down. I would give them another chance in the future to see if issues were a one time problem, but not my best experience.

I didn't like was no check point or security for the elevator area; by that mean any unauthorized person can enter the hotel room area. Most famous restaurant was closed on the week days without posted on internet.

Comfy but crowded hotel.

Large hotel, large crowds, long waits for elevators and front desk at check-in. I informed the desk and the cleaning staff that the toilet tank in room 17-122 of the Westgate Resort “refilled” every five minutes, which was really annoying, not to mention a huge waste of water. I hope it’ll be fixed. Otherwise, a comfortable stay.
