It was nice for the price. Needed a pet friendly hotel. However, they have changed their pet fee and Expedia has not updated that information. It was $84, not $50. So that was a surprise. Staff was nice about it though and upgraded the room. Easily accessed and easy parking.

The shower had no water pressure. We had to have maintenance come fix the air conditioner/ heater unit. Overall the stay was nice.

Valley was great and the rooms are clean but other than that stepping anywhere else in the hotel was ridiculous casino shut down in the a.m. hours no breakfast house no food after 10:00 and nothing before 8:00. no microwave so you had to leave. Bubba Gimps is absolutely ridiculously overpriced. slot machines never hit in two days.

Great location. Easy parking and easy to walk. Outdoor hot tub was fantastic with beautiful views. (Pool also available). Rooms facing pool are much brighter and some have been renovated so suggest paying for upgraded room. Room originally received was not satisfactory (uncomfortable bed, dark room facing parkade, and farther away from hotel amenities). Paid for upgrade on site and was much more satisfied with the renovated room overlooking pool that was bright and beds were very comfortable.

The resort was great except for a few issues we had in our rooms. First, in one of the rooms, we could not adjust the AC and had to either have it too hot or too cold. Even when we informed the front desk, the issue persisted. Second, in the second room, the restroom grout that was used to repair the damaged parts was coming off and made it seem as if the floor had dirt/dust/sand in it and it was uncomfortable to step on it.

First time staying at the Golden Nugget and I must say loved everything about it. Hotel is in very good shape, clean, well kept inside and out , rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Price is great and staff is very welcoming. They only flaw is that the restaurants close super early. They close at 8pm Sun-Thur and 9pm Fri and Sat. Other than that amazing hotel.
