The hotel is old and rundown. The parking lot is so worn out the pavement is like gravel. There was a partial couch in our room that looked like it came from a dorm patio.

My check-in process was, quite honestly, one of the worst I have ever experienced. I was assigned an unkept room, then the wrong type of room and then a room with a hinky door handle, that they said would be fixed but never was. In the room, there were no towels. The phone didn't work, so I had to go back to the front desk to order towels. An attendant brought them quickly. The room was alright. The bed was comfortable but everything else was dated. The three bright spots were the onsite restaurant, the free parking and the price of the room.

the rooms have been redone, new carpet etc...the casino is still the old Pioneer, but we are OK with that...reminds you of OLD Las Vegas...LOL...all in all you get what you pay for
