I'm originally from the area (Ogden) but we live on the east coast. We typically travel to Utah annually to see friends and family. Our family consists of four kids (two of which are autistic) and two parents.
This home seems perfectly designed for a family like ours. Being in Layton, it's pretty centrally located for our family throughout the Wasatch front (at least Davis and Weber counties, anyway) and it's really conveniently located to food and other options.
We had the place to ourselves, and a mini family reunion. The property was perfect, and we felt like the pool and hot tub were well taken care of.
The hosts were amazingly responsive, and incredibly helpful in sorting out any problem we had.
The property was clearly well loved by the owners, and any issue we had was addressed immediately.
We anticipate using this home for our homebase for any trips we make to Utah. It would be great for a family, or a group of people making a ski trip, or other gathering.
The backyard view is TO DIE FOR. It's like you're all by yourself in the middle of the wilderness, but if you go out to the street in the front you're instantly back in civilization.
This was our most relaxing vacation to date. To say we were impressed would be a large understatement.
