We were 3 adult couples in town for the Georgia-Kentucky football game. This place is in a transitioning neighborhood in a good way, it's trending up definitely. It's near the end of a dead end street so there's no traffic to worry about. We walked from here to downtown on our way to Kroger Field (a long walk, but with pop-ins to various bars, etc, it's not so bad - definitely parked a car on campus to drive home after the game).
Post-game - midnightish - we walked from the house to a nearby corner with a couple of bars (a dive and an arcade themed) for post-game fun. We felt fine walking that bit after dark.
We went on a morning walk by lovely Bluegrass Trust properties, Transy U., downtown Lexington, and back with a park or two along the way.
The space is lovely, clean, and more than accommodating. The host was responsive to the only issue and even that was more our fault than anything. It all worked out. I would definitely stay here again. The beds were very comfortable.
5 out of 5 would again, as they say.
