Property was nice and comfortable, staff were understanding and helpful. The only problem was nothing about the hotel, but the person who was next to us, he was rude, disrespectful and unconsidered without having no regards for an anxious and disregulated autistic young person and I, and elderly care giver.

Was overpriced, minimal amenities, expensive dining. Airport shuttle was handy burn breakfast didnā€™t start till 6 which is after the first flight check in (this is a regular flight back to Canada) had to be done. 1 measuring cup of Chips with guacamole, a cocktail, beer and lemonade was $50 Canadian by the pool, and the whole area is construction. Drinks was $50 CAd at the pool.

It was between this and another airport hotel in Liberia and Iā€™m glad I chose Hampton. After a gritty week in CR, it was nice to stay at a clean and convenient spot. Really clean! Best of all, the airport shuttle began early in the morning, as advertised, and was seamless. Really grateful for that. Also grateful that, despite advertising that the gimnasio would not open until 6am, it was instead accessible with a key card. And, why shouldnā€™t it be? Note to property manager: people DO want to work out very very early in the morning, especially before traveling in a cramped airplane!

We had an early flight out of Liberia so we decided to stay at this hotel. It was a great stay. We could check in early and went right to the pool. We ate by the pool and the food was good. We discovered that the brewery NUMU was within walking distance so we got to visit and enjoy their beer on tap. Thereā€™s also a great ice cream place next door. Upon checkout at 5:00 am guests were given a paper bag with water, a muffin and granola bar. It was a very pleasant surprise! Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff were great -- friendly and helpful. Property is in good condition. Rooms are small, but as expected. Breakfast and shuttle to the airport are included in the stay, making it the perfect place for our last night in Costa Rica before catching our flight home early the next morning.
