Very easy access to beach was nice, as well as nice open ocean views (with just power lines and low buildings in view). We saw rain and snow off and on during our stay but were nice and warm inside (even though fireplace was not working at the time). Beds and linens were comfortable enough, though the lounger chair with furniture cover was challenging to keep the cover on and was constantly coming unclipped and sliding around. Plenty of towels were provided and there were good hooks in bathrooms and hallway for hanging coats, towels and wet things. I could always use more hooks on trips like this where the whole family has rainy coats, towels from showers and swims, clothes accidentally getting wet in the surf. Nice TV's and good size fridge. Coffee maker was a little broken and missing filters, but the front desk helped us out with some that we made work. Good amount of kitchen dishes, supplies, etc. We liked the watercolor artwork and large map. Decor was a little bland but it sounds like the owners are still working on adding to the details. Walls are pretty thin and the parking lot is a little cramped but it was an overall good value for our stay. We liked being so close to the beach where we could watch the weather roll in and walk down for beach walks often. Our big goofy dog absolutely loved playing fetch on the sand over and over. And our boys loved finding treasures on the beach even in the rain. No bad weather when you have the right gear, right?
