The apartment is located right above the Alfama, in front of the Miradouro de Graça and the Castelo Sao Jorge, in an authentic and bustling area on the heights of the Alfama hill. It was renovated in 2013 and is now fully equipped. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen a dining room, and a furnished terrace.
- Bedroom 1: queen size bed (160 cm), two windows (one of which has a balcony and offers a view of the town and the 25 de Abril Bridge)
- Bedroom 2: bunk beds (90 cm) + extra bed
- Bathroom with a bathtub

The apartment is not overlooked on the side of the terrace. The building faces the Graça Park. It is located in a very quiet area and offers an exceptional view of the Old Town (with the convent of Graça, the Alfama hills, the Castelo Sao Jorge), the Tage and the 25 de Abril Bridge.

The apartment is ideally located in the heart of the Graça district, 100 m away from the terminus of the famous Tramway 28. The area offers plenty of restaurants and shops (5 bakeries and cake shops, 2 fishmongers’, 3 butcher's shops, 1 supermarket...) as well as many services (launderette, cybercafé, gas station, banks, newspapers...).
The apartment is fully equipped with dishes, towels, and sheets.
It is located on the third floor of an historic building (typical façade covered with azulejos) which was entirely restored in 2013.
You only need 10 minutes to get to the airport. There is a large taxi station 100 m away and the metro is within walking distance or you can take the Tramway 28 to get to it. If you have a car, you can easily park at the foot of the building, which is quite unusual in Lisbon.

Study abroad

I stayed here for a month last year. I've been traveling to Lisbon every year since 2017. I've stayed in several other apartments, and this apartment is the best I've been in by far. It is conveniently located near everything you need for a long or short trip. The proximity to stores and restaurants is fantastic. The balcony was my favorite part; the view was inspiring. Please note that you will need to walk up three flights of stairs to reach the apartment, so keep this in mind when packing. The space was great for me but would easily allow 4 people comfortably. The kitchen had the essentials, and a TV in the main room. There is a Pingo Doce (grocery store) up the hill and around the corner, so not far at all. The metro is a 10-minute walk (downhill) bus and tram are both uphill and downhill, about 5-10 minutes away on foot. Everything is accessible on foot. You won't regret your stay here.

Pleasant, compact apartment, clean and well equipped. A good size for two adults and a child. In a nice location if you don’t mind a bit of walking. Friendly host with easy communication. Only issue we found was some traffic and general noise from outside through the night. Overall a good stay and would recommend.

Outstanding View in Lisboa

Beautiful views of Sao Jorge Castle and Church from the balcony. Located minutes to the best view points in Lisbon. We’re 2 seniors with good mobility, which you will need to navigate this 3rd floor walk up and long uphill walks. Close to restaurants, taxis stand, and famous Tram 28. Perfect home base to explore Portugal

The apartment was well appointed and clean with an outdooor seating area to enjoy a meal or glass of wine. The view is spectacular. The washer was a huge benefit as we didn't have to pack as heavy. We would definitely stay here again, great spot.

Wonderful Terrace, great view of the Castle!

The property came exactly as advertised. Our favorite thing was the outdoor space which is overlooking a park and the Castle. Very spacious for 2 people and very comfortable overall. We were met by Maria upon arrival and she gave us a good overview for our stay in Lisboa.

Nice flat with a great balcony view

This flat was a great base for our stay in Lisbon. It's within walking distance of all the main sights in the city centre and the station for trains to Sintra. It's also close to an area with a good selection of restaurants. The flat was very clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was a lovely place to sit with a view over the Lisbon skyline and the local park. Communication with the host was excellent and check in was easy.

Beautiful, luminous apartment in the heart of Graça

The apartment was even better than we expected — it was such a pleasure to be able to start every morning with a coffee on the patio overlooking the park with the view of the Castelo. We had an extremely early flight and Erland and Simone even let us check in early. Can't recommend this place enough!

Excellent - a real gem

From start to finish our stay was excellent - great welcome from Simone who was very informative and helpful. The apartment is set over looking a beautiful park. We spent hours on the balcony in the early evening and early mornings. The apartment was well equipped. Spotlessly clean and in a great location. I would highly recommend. Great views!

Good sized property and very well equipped and clean. Lots of stairs to access so not for those with mobility issues. Good communication from the property and Simone was very helpful at checkin and whilst we were there. Balcony was great, lovely to eat breakfast in the sun and people watch in the park ( gymnastics, dancing, dogs playing!

Nice central apartment

This is a nicely finished two bed apartment. There is a balcony overlooking a public garden. The apartment is well equipped for cooking, and there is a barbecue and a nice coffee machine. Everything was clean and worked. Five minutes walk gets you to a main street with shops, restaurants and a stop for the famous 28 tram. Ten minutes gets you to the Statue of King John in the Praca de Figueira. It's very central. The street outside is steep, and both of the walks above involve a substantial climb, either going or coming. Also the apartment is up six flights or stairs. If you don't handle stairs well this may not be the apartment for you. Also I would strongly recommend not bringing a car with you.

Beautiful property and location.

I am very hesitant to tell about my stay. First, it is perfectly located and it is a lovely flat. It overlooks a park where you can see locals enjoying their family and exercising. The view also is of St. Jorge castle. The neighborhood is friendly and safe. The downsize was with the hosts surrogate person. I was never informed (i booked 2 weeks) that I was to provide all essentials ; i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. No one prepared me for running out of toilet paper. I never met the owners host. She ghosted me. I really dont want to go on. It is what it is. Beautiful property. Do not stay there for more than 2 days and you will be extremely happy.

Best view in the city!

After the shock of seeing the pitch of the hill we would be living on wore off, we fell in love with this apartment. The view was so beautiful that i was excited to wake up and couldnt wait for sunset. You could see so many landmarks from the deck while sipping a delicious glass of wine. It IS Lisbon, so there are lots of hills. It is a steep walk up to the main road. But it is no more than a 3 minute walk. And, you walk past two of the most famous view points in the city along the way. At the top of the hill, there are countless places for pastry & coffee. I am still sad that we didnt try the Crepe place. There are also delicious restaurants and 2 stops on the 28 tram. We HIGHLY reccomend getting at least a 2 day pass, it takes you to all the best places. Graca is such a cool neighborhood, i would probably choose that as my home, if we could have stayed in Portugal. When we visited the Miradouro de Graça, you could literally see our balcony. I truly miss this apartment. My only complaint is that there could have been more towels. But, honestly, hanging the towels on the line, was another reason to visit the balcony view. It is a few story walk up. But, if you are going to lisbon, you know you will be climbing stairs and hills. It was about a 5 Euro Uber trip back to the apartment each night, no matter where we landed during the day. It is such a beautiful town to wander. Can't wait to come back to visit!

Fantastic flat in the centre of Lisbon

This bright and clean apartment was a perfect base to explore Lisbon. We were met at the property; check-in and further communication was very easy. There is a good amount of cooking equipment and towels, bedding etc. The balcony and the view was lovely. Note that there are 48 steps to the apartment’s front door but these are not too steep (by Lisbon standards). We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely flat with a great view. We were met to get into flat and given great information on neighborhood. Coffee maker broke but someone came immediately to fix it. Beds good and flat comfortable. I’d stay again.
