This is an older property, likely developed in the 60’s. We were greeted warmly despite our early arrival. We stayed in a double twin room named “Tuna.” On entering the space there was a strong smell of cleanser. It adjoined two lodging areas on either side. We were able to hear a bit of conversation on both sides. The beds were comfy, the tea and coffee well stocked. My greatest distraction was the condition of the bathroom, considerably in need of updating. While the shower was good and strong and warm, turning it on required quite the pull. I could see the pressure in the bowing of the wall. There was no exhaust fan (as is often the case in older Florida properties) and a window had to be opened to vent the very small and very moist space. It lacked a hook; the window and blind weren’t easy to op. While sitting on the loo, I spotted a wad of foot-long hair on the floor that apparently made its way behind the door. Watch that step down from the bathroom into the room proper; there’s some notable give in the flooring and something that snaps each time you walk over it. The breakfast consists of toast, cream she’s, peanut butter, muffins, yogurt, oranges, canned pineapple, coffees, teas, and juices; a good hold you over until you get where you’re going. All in all, we’re campers; so, we’d stay here again. But on a basic level I’m disappointed by the cost/value of this place. It wasn't cheap by any stretch, and then there’s the added “resort fee.” Off the noisy main road
