Had a very pleasant stay here - the listing is accurate, the house is well maintained and the neighborhood is as described. Some details that would have answered questions I had prior to coming:
- It's a lot of stairs! We had two grandmas but they were still able to navigate the house.
- Many of the beds are raised - also just awareness for older folks, we had to choose beds for them that were not raised.
- For being so close to central london, be prepared you're still kinda out there. Either tube (about a 12-15 minute walk) or a car expect it's going to take 30-45 minutes to get to most of the central stuff you want to head to.
- Some rooms overlook a lovely park that is literally like five houses away from the house. That was really quite nice.
- There are shops and restaurants in very easy walking distance.
- There's a lot of room and privacy to the rooms. We had a large group - fam of five +2 grandmas and there was plenty of space for people to both be together if we wanted, and find privacy if needed.
- This is a lived-in house not a company run
rental, no trouble here just to know.
- Really nice coffee machine.
- Not a fan of how you get the keys, you need to go to a convenience store 1/2 mile away and pick them up, which is a bit of a pain.
- Hosts were very responsive and accommodating.
Over all a very positive experience and felt like we had a home to come home to after busy days out. Recommend!
