Let’s start with the good - 15 min walk from Stratford, new building, nice rooms, pleasant staff.
I happened to have booked a room on a very hot day. They must have known how hot the room got as the small windows were open when I checked in. However, it was only warm air coming in and noisy, so I put on the a/c. This didn’t seem to work very well, so I asked if I could move to a cooler room, but they were fully booked. So they gave me a key to keep the a/c on and I went out for the day. I got back around 10pm. The room was still stifling hot. The a/c didn’t work. I had to revert to watering a towel to try and keep cool. All I want in an hotel room is quiet and cool and a comfy bed. I hardly slept all night and can’t comment on the breakfast as I was so tired and annoyed I left as soon as possible in the morning. I did tell them about the a/c and suggested they get a fan for the room. All in all a very unpleasant nice in a nice room
