Nice place with an easy close walk to the tube …nice pub/restaurant downstairs but not noisy …small room for great for traveling solo …bed could use a refresh but that would not stop me from staying here again
They were absolutely fantastic, whether you’re staying for a night or a week in London. This is the place. They stayed open late past closing just so we could check in. Some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet!
Our stay at The Hayden Pub & Hotel was great. Duarte checked us in at the bar and offered us a complimentary drink. The room was 2-level, clean, and nicely decorated. We stayed for one night the return from a London/Paris holiday trip. Notting Hill is very safe and walkable. The hotel is close to Paddington Station. Highly recommend this hotel for the quality and the rate.
Very cute. Not really a hotel inn. Few things didn’t work in room. Very hard to walk up down. Hard to reach staff vs waiters. Do not stay if not young mobile. We had a very pleasant stay but next time will need elevator and a less awkward setup for a hotel vs pub
Very nice, large room; and while over pub and noise was evident (I was immediately over the pub on level 1), the pub closed at 11 p.m. and the rest of the time was very quiet.
This was an unexpected delight for me to stay for 2 days in London before heading back to the States.
It’s great to have a restaurant on site since I was exhausted from a week of class so was able to just pop down and have a meal.
It was easy to walk to The Underground and back to Paddington.
The room was perfect for 1-2 people. Very comfortable, very beautiful, cozy beds and pillows were a treat. A much larger bathroom than I expected and was able to treat myself to a soaking bath.
Be prepared for stairs. They do carry your bags up but I had to leave early so I had to take them down myself which was fine. Just pack lightly.
Key drop off was easy at a small box before you could exit for a street access but the staff is usually around after 9am and you can drop the key with them.
It is on a main road so there was a lively amount of beeping during rush hour and ambulance/police sirens but was quiet during the nighttime so it didn’t bother me.
I was given a welcome drink and the manager was a delight letting me check in 2 hours early.
Overall so much more than what was expected. They seem to really care about the property and how they treat guests. I would highly recommend if in the area and would stay there again.
The staff here were very welcoming and nice from the moment we stepped through the door of the pub. The place was adorable and clean. Highly recommend their coconut-honey Old Fashioned. There was some sort of really loud banging noise for a good part of the night, but when we checked out they didn’t seem to be able to explain it, so it may have just been a fluke. Otherwise, everything waa fabulous & we’d definitely stay there again. Easy walk to all of the cute stuff in Notting Hill
What a wonderful stay. It was a little out of the way from where our plans were, but we loved the room and restaurant. The staff was excellent. We would stay here again.
Amazing location, food and accommodations. The hotel thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. Food was top notch and staff was incredibly helpful and nice.
There isn't a lift, so be prepared to walk up/down some stairs. Small rooms, but nicely decorated. Cleaning staff didn't change the sheets when cleaning the room despite my husband dropping some chocolate on the sheets during his midnight snacking.
Overall the staff was friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious!
The accommodations were excellent. The Hayden thought of everything to assist us with our trip. Rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, the bathrooms were large and contemporary. They provided nice snacks, coffee machines chocolates, water, an umbrella and a welcome cocktail and the staff and food was top notch.
