A beautiful stone-built Grade ll Listed Water Mill barn conversion, with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The Water Mill is one of four cottages at East Trenean Farm, offering high quality comfortable accommodation, with modern facilities. The two-bedroom cottage is ideal for a family of 4 or two couples, with the added luxury of a gazebo covered hot tub and 2 gardens. A place to relax in a ‘get away from it all' location, yet only 3 miles from the fishing town of Looe and its beach.

Water Mill is a beautiful two storey cottage with original features including thick stone walls and exposed wooden beams. There are oak floors, doors and stairway and even part of the old Water Mill's working mechanisms. It is furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture, rugs, paintings and wall art. The cottage has BT Fast Broadband with an Open Mesh Wi-Fi network. The cottage is non-smoking.

The spacious bedrooms on the lower ground floor have super-king beds that can be split into two single beds and arranged as twin rooms. The rooms have wardrobes, chest of draws, mirrors, bedside tables with lamps, hair dryers. Bedroom 1 has a Freeview T.V. and double-glazed doors that lead out into the garden with the hot tub. There is a feature wood burning stove for those cosy evenings in and a dining area with table and chairs. The cottage has a selection of board games, puzzles, DVDs and books for the enjoyment of our guests during their stay. The door leads out to the upper ground level garden.

Families are welcomed and our cottage is suitable for children. For those with babies and toddlers on request we can provide items for during your stay which include a travel cot, highchair and stair gates, so to lighten the load when packing! On the paddock field we have play equipment for our families to enjoy including a range of swings with a baby seat, a ‘ship' climbing frame with a play cabin below and a wave slide, football goals and plenty of grass to run around on or even play cricket and have a picnic! 5 Star Service, 5 Star Accommodation
What an amazing place, everything was so well organised and worked like a well oiled machine. All descriptions were accurate, the property was clean and tidy with a welcome pack waiting for us. We needed more logs during the stay (it was cold!) and they were delivered to us at no additional cost. Jane and Graham have everything so well organised and were easy to contact and responded well. We would definitely recommend this accommodation (we stayed in the Water Mill) and these hosts. A definite 10 out of 10 from us.

We were two couples staying in the watermill. The place was even more nicer than the pictures.
When we arrived we meet Jane and she showed us around the outside of the property. On opening the front door we found the place to be bigger than the pictures showed. The welcome basket was packed with some lovely essentials to help start your holiday. The property was lovely and clean and had everything you needed and more. The beds were very comfy and the hot tub was a great to relax in at the end of a business day. We are already talking about coming back. Thank you Jane and Graham for a wonderful place hope to see you soon

A getaway from it all
A unique property done to a fantastic specification in a beautiful location. If you can drag yourself away from the log fire or hot tub then enjoy the scenic walk from Hessenford to Seaton Beach or explore the lovely town of Looe. A hidden gem for a relaxing weekend

Gorgeous cottage with a mix of modern and traditional features. Well equipped property , very clean, good sized bedroom with massive comfy beds. The hot tub is a god send after a busy hectic full day out of visiting attractions around gorgeous Cornwall. Use of washing machine and tumble dryer is a bonus. Looe is only a 10 minute drive away down one main road where there's local shops and a lovely sandy cove. We were greeted well by the owners and had a lovely welcome hamper. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area . You would not be disappointed

A wonderful stay!
Immaculately presented cottage with everything we could of wanted for a week in Cornwall, reconnecting with family after a year of covid-19 and lockdowns! The weather was rubbish but we didn't mind as the cottage was perfect for relaxing in when we couldn't go out. A return trip is a must! A massive thank you to our hosts Jane and Graham.

Absolutely wonderful time
As we came away for my 28th Birthday it was special and we wanted to have as much enjoyment out of the stay as possible! We certainly achieved that. The grounds are unlike anything we’ve ever seen & even though the weather was wet and dreary the entire weekend, the views where stunning and did not affect our stay or ability to use the hot tub. Which was a fantastic and great addition to Our stay, we used the tub twice which overlooked stunning scenery. Graham & Jane have been amazing hosts and even catered to our need straight away when our toaster went kaput. After one message Graham was over in a flash to sort the issue and replace the toaster. We have felt very comfortable, relaxed and even though the farm has a few properties around us, we still felt isolated and like we had our own privacy. I have already stated I will be coming again next year! Thank you for your hospitality, hope to see you again!

Absolute Gem of a place!
We have just returned as a family of 4 from the Watermill Cottage. Upon arrival, we had a welcome gift of Cornwalls finest cider, ale, slab cake, biscuits and free range eggs from the hens on the farm. Lovely touch! The cottage is very clean, Covid awareness and hygiene has been implemented superbly and we felt very safe using all facilities including the hot tub. The beds were very comfy, combined with the sea air, we slept so well all week. What a fantastic little place, we cant recommend East Trenean Farm highly enough. Thank you so much to our hosts for being so accommodating. They have literally thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

A Fantastic place to stay
I would thoroughly recommend staying at East Trenean Farm for your Cornwall holiday. We stayed in the Water Mill and the property is just first class, as are all the other cottages as well. They are spotlessly clean and and all that you could wish for in a holiday home. The actual farmhouse and grounds are really beautiful with some great views of the local countryside especially from the Hot Tub which is something that I would urge people to use. The property is in an ideal location for just getting in your car and visiting the amazing places in Cornwall and into Devon. We will definitely be returning for another holiday and I would give it 10/10 without hesitation.
