Clean and Efficient Stay
This space was clean and comfortable. We were in town for a medical visit so a lot of amenities was not necessary, the space was just right. I appreciated that there were ample washcloths in the bathroom, reusing a bath towel is fine, but at many multi-day stays, we run out of washcloths. There were several in a basket which was awesome. Great affordable stay close to Cedars.

Please, do not be fooled by the photos. I also looked at the photos in the listing and thought that it would be fine. I tried to be fair, and not angry n my rating. We booked 4 nights, but after the first night had to find another place to stay , even after the host told us they’ll not refund the unused nights. Why did we leave? 1. Complete lack of safety. The only door to the room in the ground floor is a sliding door with a lock that took us several attempts AND a visit from a maid with a screwdriver to somehow lock , though not securely. I have videos of that. 2. When we were leaving the little fence gate was not locking behind us at all, so we just left it unlocked - I have a video of that too. 3. We were woken up before 6am by aa child’s footsteps and yelling coming from the room above us. We could literally hear all the conversations people were having and every footstep was echoing loudly in our room. I have videos of that too. 4. the room lacked cleanliness and working equipment. Dirty carpet ( have photos), neither clock nor coffee maker were working . Makes me wonder if I slept on clean sheets , if the host does not pay even a minimal attention, nor puts any minimal resources into the condition and amenities of this place. Save yourself from needing to pay extra to book something on the spot after you realize this isn’t a good place for you, or even worse - from spoiling your time in LA by being stuck in this place . About the same size as a motel room. Has a much more private entrance. Parking can be a bit tricky , we have stayed there twice. So overall it’s nice.

This was our first time booking a non hotel room. I'll start with the positives... Cute decor, easy to enter. Not so good... The rules ask you to take off your shoes before entering, I'm not sure why. The carpet is stained and the area rug was very matted. We couldn't close the curtain all the way because the ring was detached and wouldn't slide to close. Only 1 small trash can and we had to take items with us daily to throw away in the outside can. Wobbly table, so hard to eat at. The parking is challenging but managed. The outlet near one of the nightstands was broken. So sometimes the lamp worked and sometimes it went out. Felt unsafe. The wall near that outlet was stained like liquid was dripping down it and never cleaned. The two things that were just unbearable and unacceptable were the toilet ran every 7-8 minutes! And the noise from whoever lives upstairs. We were woken up each morning at 630-700am to loud talking or shouting, kids yelling and running around like they were outside, stomping around and jumping. The walls are so thin and the people so inconsiderate. We could hear conversations, chairs sliding across the floor right above our heads. I did reach out to the Hostess and she got back to me with an apology and that she'll let the people know to quiet down. I tried to message her back just to say thank you & it seems that she turned off messaging or the link, so the rest our stay we had no way of contacting her. only 1 1/2 rolls of TP, ran out!

Overall our stay was great. The location was awesome for our plans in L.A. Very centrally located to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and the beach. It was very easy to check in and out. We would stay here again for sure.

Good place to stay
The place was as described and a good stay. Minor issues were the door lock was loose and the gate didn’t always seem to lock after opening it and entering/leaving. Parking instructions were confusing as parking in the driveway was stated as not allowed but parking across the driveway was allowed per the instructions in the room. There was sufficient on street parking that we avoided the confusion.

Perfect spot to call home while you’re visiting Los Angeles. You’re close to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and about 8 miles to to beach! Plenty of room to accommodate my Fiancée and I. Super cozy and very nice little spot. We definitely enjoyed our stay and slept great every night. Highly recommend staying here! 5/5

Clean, quiet & close to delicious food!
The studio is very comfortable, clean and simple; the amenities are minimal but worked great for us as my companion and I were eating out and didn’t need to do any cooking. We were really excited about the great restaurants within walking distance! The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet considering that there are busy streets nearby. There is no designated parking spot for the studio but we were able to easily find parking around the corner or on the next block. There was a minor issue that the property manager was very communicative about and resolved quickly. The studio worked great as our base while we spent the weekend exploring the area.

Clean and cozy
Enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, safe, and centrally located to access the different parts of the city. Walkable to grocery stores, coffee shops, and McDonald's. The space was clean and big enough for 2 people. I would recommend having another trash can in the unit by the refrigerator and add some extra towels for guests.

Unfortunately unhappy!
This property was totally not what was expected. In order to enter the property is through the sliding doors and that is the only ventilation in the room. No window or air conditioner just a fan that hardly blows air. First off the property owner say to please take off your shoes in the place. The rug in the room is stained and the throw rug is sticky. The air conditioner you might as well say there isn’t one. There’s no thermostat and if you want air conditioner you have to text call property owner. It is very very warm in the room. We stayed for 4 nights. The property building is all Vrbo or Air B &B. On our second night here upstairs had a party with loud music. Then on the third day new people came to the property upstairs and it was like a herd of elephants. It was unreal. On the fourth morning we were awaken at 6am by the pounding and walking which was ridiculously beyond loud. The TV only works if you have your own streaming accounts. We were out almost every day but unfortunately we encountered these issues.

Weekend Getaway
Our overall experience was pretty great. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and spacious. It was also very private with no rowdy neighbors. Our host was great at replying to us and accommodating our needs. We only had a couple of complaints. The first being parking. There is limited spacing in front of the building and parking restrictions on certain days/times. One night we ended up parking a couple blocks away since no other spots were available. It wasn't awful, just more inconvenient. Our other complaint was that there was no thermostat in the room, so at times it would get hot and muggy. The host does provide a fan for in the room, but there were a few nights we woke up because we got to warm. But location is great and pricing was fabulous!

The place was nice, clean and quiet. The inky 2 small issues we had was that, the toilet was difficult to flush. I believe it's time for new mechanics in the tank. Secondly, the one and only table to eat at was extremely wobbly. I would definitely rebook at this location.

Nice stay
Street parking not directly in front of building. Photos of front of building and other would have made it easier to understand access. A little hard to find our way since lights weren't on in the area had to use phone flashlight to see. But we liked the room and amenities. Maybe provide a squeegee in the shower for the floor to push water towards drain. Maybe provide a couple of bowls and spoons to use while staying there. Thank you for the nice place.

In LA for a teaching conference at UCLA
Hopped up to LA from San Diego and needed a place to stay off-campus whole I went to my teaching conference at UCLA. This cute little place was PERFECT for what I needed which was a calm place of safety, comfort and minimalist solo travel. You’ll be staying in a cute little Granny Flat type place on the bottom floor of a townhouse. It is completely independent of the main part of the home and you have your own separate entrance through a gate and a sliding glass door. They have lights and a cute little table and chairs setup on the patio which is super zen and wonderful. The bathroom is updated and the shower is cute and wonderful. Loved the Amazon Fire stick because I love to play music videos on YouTube while I study or just chill. The bed was comfy and all of the linens and towels smelled wonderful, everything was super clean and there is a ton of drawer space for clothes and a desk to study/read/work. The little Harry Potter closet is where the mini-fridge/Kuerig/water. You can also plug things into the surge protector in there. The parking is good, just be careful and pay attention to the street sweeping signs!! I had my own car so I was able to drive anywhere I needed to go and that was great! The traffic to UCLA wasn’t too bad and I was also able to get to the freeway pretty quickly. I highly recommend this cute little spot to anyone and I think I’ll bring my wife here when we take a trip to LA soon!!
