Property is well situated if you need to be near the airport; distances to the various terminals & car rental outlets are reasonable (within a few km/mi). There is a gas station right across the street, along with various food options & a large grocery store that sells some hot food options as well. The carpet in my room could use cleaning as it smelled like wet dog. I may have just gotten unlucky, but the hotel itself is a bit dated. However, it is fairly clean & well maintained overall despite its age.

The water pressure was poor and the tv didn’t work at all but for the price we paid and so close to the airport with the necessary shuttle it was more than enough. The breakfast is plenty with a good variety of options.

There was a small fire at the hotel a few days before our arrival. After we were dropped off and went to check-in we were told that we were being sent to stay at a sister hotel site which was around the corner. It was late at night and we had 2 small children with us, so this was rather inconvenient. We had to walk with our luggage and children to the new hotel. It would have been nice to have been told this before our arrival considering we had made the reservation many weeks in advance.

I used the early check in feature and they prepared a hand written note and bag of snacks for me. The airport pickup drop off was smooth. There are restaurants and grocery stores across the street. Great place to layover

Everything is good. But a tiny important note, while I was searching for a stay near LA, I was specifically looking for a stay with free parking and Fairfield was one of the options that came with the results, and I booked it based on this criteria. When checking in, they only ask you if you want to park in their parking. When I checked out they told me that I will be paying for parking, and when I told them about their listing in expedia, the response was "we don't have anything with expedia that says free parking". And they told me to check the confirmation email, which says that I will be paying for parking. So they mislead people on the expedia listing and they surprise you at the end, and their justification is that we told you in the confirmation email.

Food and shopping options right around the corner so really convenient. No onsite parking as parking is across the street down a dark back road not ideal if your on your own but area feels safe enough that it was ok. Access to main roads really easy. The staff was uniformly friendly. The choices at the bar were very limited. As many people use this as an airport hotel, it would be good to have a couple of healthy options on the bar menu for those who come in from a long flight. The wings were good, but not something I want to go to sleep on!

What a gem this property is. We didn’t expect much staying at an airport location; however, the staff, room cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, location, price and complimentary breakfast all hit the mark. The breakfast buffet provides a substantial offering of breakfast foods and is constantly kept up during the morning breakfast rush. I would highly recommend staying at this location and will be sure to my next stopover at LAX.

Front desk staff very welcoming, and shuttle to & from LAX made this a convenient location. Breakfasts included a nice bonus. A hot tub would make for a more enjoyable stay, however. Convenience store prices were ridiculous, but there’s a Ralph’s market literally across the street. We’ll likely stay again.
