This hotel is in a really rough area of LA. While inside the hotel is nice and our room was good for the pricing, I will not stay here again as a single mother with two children. I did not feel safe outside, going to my car during the day, but especially at night. To be honest, I’m not sure what exactly can be done because I understand it is the area however it was very unsettling.

It was a good space for our family. Breakfast was great for us and exactly what we needed. 😀 I had a bit of a problem getting extra bedding when we cane back for the evening. But other than that everything was good. Don't go walking around the neighborhood it is covered in homelessness. Inside is good outside Not good!

This property is situated in very unsafe area and surrounded by homeless people on street. There were homeless people roaming Infront of lobby entrance and in property parking lot. Car parking is not safe. Inside hotel is in good condition but surround place is very noisy and unsafe one can hear shouting and noise all night.

Unfortunately, the TV did not work in our room so I asked for another which they accommodated without issue. The only issue I found was the location of the gem. Immediately outside were blocks and blocks of piles of trash, homeless individuals, and their encampments. Many blocks smelled like urine. Gunshots and sirens were heard through the night, so were did not sleep well. Other than the TV. none of these other issues were the hotel's fault, but I can't help wondering why they chose that location to build or to take over another hotel's location. With that said. he building was secure and staff was great.

Very comfortable stay for 2 nights neighborhood is close to universal and lake hollywood. Area ia not so good if traveling by public transportation. We drove so was not a concern. Breakfast was amazing.

The property itself was wonderful however my view was of an alley and there were homeless people shooting up drugs right there right out my window so that was a definite negative

It was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite and friendly. If you’re looking for a swimming pool during the summer months this wouldn’t be the place . However they do have a very small 3 1/2 foot out sorry waiting pool if that suits you.
