Well they advertise about a rooftop bar which was the reason I got it then I get there and girl at the front desk says "its been closed for months" then when I get in the room finally they send me a text to get a drink at their and food for the bar thats shut down?!?! Then they held $100 2x for booking a room but said I booked it 2x then parking is like $38 ?!?! Im like whats goin on here?!?! Then in the morning super loud upstairs?!?! Like come on guys ?!?!? And the room was $265

Convenient and quiet location. Safe parking. Rooms are not very spacious but it is enough if you’re just staying for few days. Free coffee and water in first floor was a plus. However would’ve liked to see more ambience in lobby. Overall. Good stay and great value!

Good location on a somewhat tatty Sunset Boulevard

Arrived early and told that we should be able to check-in at 1530, but if not, 1600 was guaranteed. Arrived back after 1600 but 'guaranteed' room still not ready. In what sense was it guaranteed? And when checking in, I do prefer to be greeted and welcomed, not ignored whilst endless computer inputting goes on. However, once that was sorted out all else was okay, baggage stored for us without fuss and toom was reasonable and clean. Good location, short ride to Hollywood Boulevard and Melrose and about $40 Uber to LAX. Not much in food nearby, Aroma is very close and ok, but would recommend LaLas Argentinian steakhouse on Melrose.

Good hotel let down by politicians

The hotel is good in a convenient, central location that is largely safe. The room was spacious & clean, with good security (the front door locks at dark) but a few chips in the bathroom masonry could do with filling. Parking is convenient & free which is really useful in a city like LA. As some others have mentioned, there are a few characters who wonder around his part of Sunset Blvd/Hollywood which is a shame for a hotel and no reflection on the hotel - but reflects badly on the people in charge of the city. It is a short walk from Hollywood Blvd and the TCL theatre (Garden Street is a nice street to walk via to Hollywood Blvd) and it is directly across the fantastic Guitar Center.

Hotel could have been remotely understanding.

Mid wildfires, day 2, as additional fires sparked we were prohibited from flying in with our young son for the Lakers game. I’d consider the devastating circumstances to be aside from the norm, but the hotel refused to refund partial reimbursement for the cost of the stay we never claimed. Didappointing experience all around.
