We loved everything about this property except for construction noise. Property design is the best in the business! We especially enjoyed our swim up suite. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is a gorgeous, super conveniently located, friendly resort. Despite being super sick for the first 3 days of our stay (not food or resort related), we had an amazing time in San Jose del Cabo. The resort is walking distance (30-40mins, or 5-10min taxi ride) to shopping areas and an art district. There are also a bunch of restaurants just outside the gates, if you’re looking to try something away from the resort, but you won’t need to since there are tons of options within. The buffet is typical, lots of different options. The A La Carte restaurants are really where it’s at, our favourites were the Italian (shout out to Enrique) and Casa Cortez (shout out to Alan and Sergio). Both have beautiful views of the beach, ocean and cliffs. We also really appreciated the little coffee bar and the room service while we were sick :) From the moment you step into the huge, airy lobby (with an unparalleled view straight through to the ocean) you will be welcomed and feel totally at ease. Highly, highly recommend this spot!

While there is some construction in one of the buildings we were not bothered by it. The staff was amazing in all locations from dining, to entertainment, to housekeeping. All staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay awesome. We enjoyed the activities and entertainment offered by the resort. There was a wide variety of good food options throughout the resort. Dinner did take a little longer than we like to spend at sit down meals and I could see this being a problem once the part of the hotel under construction is done as there will be more guests and they will need to turn tables quicker.

Excellent service. Staff was very accommodating. Ana and Lorenzo (from Cuba) made sure the menu items catered my vegan diet. Marcos at Club prepared Cadillac margaritas that brought us back every day of our visit! Carlos, our bell hop made sure we were taking care of until the moment we left. At one time the construction impacted the water in our room;however, it was quickly resolved.

The Hyatt Ziva hotel was an enjoyable experience. The property is clean and the service was very good. I would like to see more dining options. There was construction at the property which should have been disclosed before I booked. Overall a good experience.

Wait staff outstanding!

I haven’t highly commend the following wait staff - Alejandro (LOVE Him!) that’s from Gloria. Also Manual - both our beach waiters. Then Angel from Cortez Cafe - such a lovely young man! And lastly, Fernando from main dining made our breakfast experience outstanding and his chocolate creator last day was a most welcome surprise and kind gesture on his part But all staff up and down the line were always friendly.

This resort was amazing. We have a personal concierge Camila and she was the icing on the cake. Food was great and tons of options, Habachi was good and the drinks were good also. They made my daughter’s birthday memorable. I would definitely go back! There was construction but I didn’t hear anything during the day or at night while trying to sleep. 10/10

OMG! How amazing. The service, the amenities and the food were all top notch. We got upgraded to a swim out room and it was delightful. The spa was incredible. The superbowl party was great, even though our team lost. Only bad part was you can not go into the ocean at this resort due to the currents and the waves. But, beautiful, none the less. No place we would rather be when it’s 11 degrees at home!!
