I stayed at the Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham at 2810 Coho Street, Madison, Wisconsin for two nights this week. Friendly staff is always at the front desk. The entire building was clean inside and out. I've stayed there before and came back for a few reasons. #1) The clean hot tub and pool, open until 11PM. 2) Breakfast buffet. Hot, fresh and plenty to eat, prepared by friendly staff. 3) Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Recycle bins are rare at hotels. The Baymont is the first hotel I have ever seen with a recycle bin in the rooms. Way to go Baymont!

The bathroom, while large and mostly fine, should be cleaner. There were marks on the wall next to the toilet that made me wonder. The corners of the floor welre still dirty and gritty. The carpet in front of the desk had white spots that looked liked they could have been cleaned with little effort. The parki g lot was EXTREMELY icy in the morning. When I told the desk. He said they would send someone out right away. But since I could see that the sidewalk had been salted. I would have expected they would have salted enough to let guests get to their vehicles. I nearly fell a few times.

The LED strip lights did not work. The sink in the bathroom drained very slowly. Water from the faucet splashed out of the sink. The beds were pretty good. On the first night of our stay, the police were called to the hotel when a man tried to assault an employee. My wife and daughter were very scared. We won't be staying at this hotel again.

Very unsafe place a lot of drug transact sides in front of the building very dirty work out and rusted equipment. All broke very unsafe banging on the walls could not sleep.
