This hotel failed with the basics: 1) There was no running water for hours (after 9 am, when more tenants were up) 2) The external noise from outside the room was loud 3) The bed was very uncomfortable 4) There was no way to enter the hotel without carrying luggage up stairs. 5) The room (not shown in this picture) was awkward, leaving little living space. There are many other items I could pick at, but why bother. We choose the room for location, which was a mistake. Within a three week period we stayed at 3 hotels in Madrid, the others were great. I recommend avoiding this facility. S3

A nice place to stay in Madrid city center
Stayed for 4 nights. Overall, this is a good property to stay in Madrid. Its location is excellent for exploring the city. The property is very efficiently run and the staff at the dining room are very friendly. Due to the lack of visible staff at the check-in area, I had a terrible time to deal with a few unexpected problems.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this property. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was subpar. The sheets on all the beds were stained and filthy, which made for an uncomfortable and unhygienic sleeping experience. Given the unacceptable state of cleanliness, I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Overall a unique and cool property. It just needs some basic maintenance like touch up painting inside and there was a broken toilet seat in one of the bathrooms.

We had a great stay at Líbere. The studio was very nice. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The area is magnificent, right in the centre of Madrid. Full of restaurants, bars, shops, tourist attractions. We loved it.

Great value for a convenient location. The only downside is the noise level. You can easily hear other guests coming and going all night (often until 2-3am). For a light sleeper this could be challenging.

The sleeping area upstairs was very hot as the AC is located downstairs and the bathrooms were not fully cleaned their was trace of hair in sink and shower and shower had scum mold buildup in walls

Other than location the hotel does not offer anything else. We booked a room for three had a small bed for one person and the uncomfortable couch for two. A room for one person rather than three. Overpriced. Other than towels you have nothing else in the room. It’s more like a 2-3 star hotel than 4. Breakfast was simple.

Right in the middle of everything near Opera, but quiet — unlike many other hostels and hotels in the area which are on noisy streets. Full kitchen and 1.5 baths in the large two level units. No in person front desk but they were responsive through phone and message. We had a comfortable stay of about one week. Would recommend
