The positives: a great location near the museums, comfortable beds, quiet at night, lots of room and well furnished. Communication was good, and we received a front door key codes and lockbox instructions to enter and get the keys on our own, including early check in because it was not rented the night before.
The negative: the shower drain was clogged so the shower backed up all over the bathroom floor. On the positive side, the owner sent a plumber to fix (he did) but not until day 2. (But also a positive in terms of being able to communicate with the owner.) The kitchen sink and one bathroom sink had no hot water (others were fine), but the owner says this would be fixed after our stay (needed a part). The electricity went out in the building (but not the apartment) on day 3 as we were leaving, which meant no elevator and no front door keypad to get in. Maybe that was all just coincidence, but it left me with the impression that the building might not be in great shape. Also, the kitchen is large but has almost no cooking utensils, did not come with basics (sugar, salt), and had no working coffee pot (could not be used because of missing filter).
