This is a wonderful cozy cabin! It had everything we needed and more. The quiet deck and pristine grounds made for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend! We will be back!
It was perfect for me. I love the mountain and being able to get up to the Transfer area so easily. This cabin was a dream come true. Everything I needed was there and it was all done very well, i.e. kitchen, bedroom, bath. I loved the southern view from the porch to the mountain east of Mesa Verde, as well as the field with the rise and pinyon/junipers to the west. Sunsets with silhouetted trees. Beautiful. Tyler and Mackenzie were wonderful. I hope to be able to go back again.
Perfect home base for a week of exploring Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico with it's centralized location to all the amazing historical ruins in the region. Quiet and out of the way enough to a relaxing sit on the porch after a long day of hiking but close enough to "town" so you can sit down for a bite to eat or stop at the grocery store. The next time we come through the area we'll be staying again. Great little cabin to rest your bones in between adventures!
Cute clean cabin located close to Mesa Verde park entrance. In a quiet location but close to restaurants and coffee shops. It was perfect for our stay.
We stayed 2 nights. This little cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was extremely quiet & well stocked. The owners were extremely helpful with renting. They communicated very well from start to finish. Would highly recommend if youâre looking for a quiet country side rental. Very private. The bed was extremely comfortable also. Perfect for two people.
This place was just perfect. Well appointed, comfy bed, thoughtfully decorated, good selection of spices in the kitchen. Property team were helpful when needed and not overbearing.
Thanks so much.
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and private without being too far from town. Wish the shower was more roomy but other than that it was a lovely stay.
Adorable little house. Super close to their house. I donât know if they had some sort of event happening at their house the days we stayed, but it was very loud. It was very clean.
Stayed at the cabin for a couple nights, and it was tranquil, relaxing and convenient. In the morning, cows (well, probably steers) were grazing a few feet from our porch. Everything was simple and basic and functional. We made good use of the porch, which might benefit from some outdoor curtains or wood slats as the sun can be quite intense. We had some issues with internet strength and logging in (my wife could get on wifi, I could not) which was only an issue because we had a bunch of Zooms, but I think for most people this would be a non-issue. Manager was very responsive and tried to be helpful and though it was never resolved (really, what can they do? They can't change location or signal strength) it was more of a minor blib than a problem - I only mention it in case anyone is using this as a work outpost. Everything else was great and we would absolutely stay there again.
Perfect little cabin in absolutely gorgeous setting. We liked staying in the smaller quiet town of Mancos centrally located between Cortez and Durango so you can hit Mesa Verde NP and also easily explore the surrounding area. If you want to visit and see sights in the âFour Cornersâ area or access Million Dollar Hwy then this cabin is great place to use as your Base Camp. Also Host is very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in the cabin. Perfect Colorado Cabin feel with updated decor and plenty of amenities. Owners were great and communicated promptly!
This is away from the busy city of Durango, and close the Mesa Verde National Park. We saw a couple of herds of Elk on the highway near Mancos. There were deer grazing nearby when we woke up early one morning. We were very pleased. The owner did a great job of communicating before we ariived, and followed up after we departed.
Loved staying at this cabin. So peaceful and quiet and the owner was wonderful at communicating and resolving a minor issue I had. Very close to town and just a few minutes from great hiking trails, mancos state park and mesa verde national park. I would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed the privacy of the property. Beautiful star filled nights.
âCountry quietâ. Clear, cool nights for comfortable sleeping. Everything we needed was at hand.
I would have liked to have met the owner to get some tips about walking opportunities in close proximity to the property. We left a day early because of a dental issue.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the cabin. It is always clean and an easy process to get checked in. I love the surroundings, and this time we saw 4 bucks in velvet when we were having coffee on the porch.
