This was a fine place to stay for one night but if I had longer in Manila I would probably like to stay somewhere else. The breakfast is alright a mix of western and Filipino food but felt like there could be more effort. The rooms are fine and the bathrooms are too- clean, but a little dark with the curtains/window set up. Not super appealing I think. I think for a foreigner the neighborhood is probably not the best- I like a mix of accessing western and quality Filipino food and I don’t think there were great options around.

We enjoyed our stay for 3 night on 9th floor overlooking the bay. The unit was a little dated but was clean and quiet. We did hear some traffic noise, but expected. The hotel is near rizal park and intramuros. Walked to both. We did the bambike tour of intramuros. It was excellent. Robinson mall is close if need anything.

Can’t say enough about this staff. They front desk staff were literally under siege when I arrived for check-in as a weather front from a typhoon was rolling in, and everyone and their mothers were seeking refuge at the hotel. And if that wasn’t enough, the lobby was practically underwater from the high water levels caused by the rain. When I came down the next morning, one would have never imagined that less than 24 hours before the place was a disaster area, as it looked as pristine as it might have the day it opened. Whatever bonuses or raises the engineering and front desk staffs received, they earned them.
