Five Star Stay

I was surprised on my arrival by a room upgrade. And what a room! It was lovely, meant I also had access to their Continental Club lounge and benefits. The downside was that the hotel's telephone system went down, so I had to leave my room to order room service and also to get help with my luggage on check out the next morning. The only other issue was that I was directed to a private function when I went looking for the Club lounge for cocktail hour. I eventually ended up in Vu's Bar, a nice bar in the hotel. Overall though, the staff were generally really professional and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again if on Manila, and certainly will make me want to check out Marco Polo hotels in other locations.

Nice hotel

Very clean and modern hotel. It's walking distance to a shopping mall and there are a couple of restaurants at the back of the hotel. it's got a nice view of the city on the roof bar and lobby reception. Customer service is good but nothing special. They are friendly but compared to some other 5 star hotels in Manila this hotel is average. I ordered a drink at the lobby bar that took very long to make. The receptionist is not very observant as I checked in on my birthday. After asking for my ID when I checked in a simple birthday greeting would be great customer service.
