Fawlty Towers?
The hotel DOES NOT provide free airport transportation as stated in the description. The plus sides of the hotel are: the food is excellent and good value for money, our 2 waitresses were very friendly and efficient. Now for the down side ....... The rooms are basic which we expected, but we didn't expect faulty electrics, from the first night. One evening there was a loud bang when our light exploded - it had been fitted with the wrong bulb. Another evening there was a power cut (due to faulty electrics). I phoned the hotel owner (there's no-one on site at night). He was asleep. There were 10 guests unable to get into the premises as the security gates are electric! The owner and his son seemed very unconcerned about these problems. Other items listed in the description which we didn't have - in-room safe, mini bar, snorkelling equipment etc. Our sheets were not changed during our 2 week stay. We only had change of towels the first week. The cleaner didn't always do our room, thus we ran out of toilet paper, and had to see the owner to get some, but he wasn't there. There were sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach when we arrived, however the mattresses had been put away and we were told we could only have them if we paid 5€ a day. Gradually the sun loungers too were put away, until the day before we left, when there were none! They had no ice cream as they had run out. The reason for all of this - the season had finished, despite it being 32 C in September. We had asked f
